Buddy Valastro, star of TLC’s weekly series Cake Boss and Next Great Baker, is adding a daily cooking show to his plate. TLC announced it is launching Kitchen Boss, a daytime cooking series “that will showcase Buddy’s traditional Italian recipes.” Kitchen Boss, which has received a 40-episode order, will kick off with a sneak peek after the finale of competition series Next Great Baker on Jan. 24 and will start airing in its regular 5:30PM slot the following day. Meanwhile, season four of Cake Boss premieres on Jan. 31.

With crap like this, it’s no wonder people are watching less and less TV and heading to their game consoles and computers for entertainment.
I’m happy that the people who actually produce these shows have jobs. But I also happen to know that most of them go home at night and throw up at how they earn a living.
Sounds like TLC wants to become another Food Network or The Cooking Channel. This show sounds like a copy of Giada De Laurentiis’s At Home series showcasing her Italian family recipes. First it was a copy of Ace of Cakes on TLC from the Food Network now this copy from the Food Network.
Hey, don’t lump Buddy in with the likes of Kate or Sarah….
Cake Boss ain’t no Mad Men, but Buddy is a nice dude. His cakes taste great!
I actually think buddy is great – and it really is quality family programing
Buddy knew he would be a success ever since he was bitten by a cakebug and received the gift of second sight. I especially enjoy his androige cake.

AND STILL LOVE WATCH HIS PROGRAMS BAKING AND COOKING I THINK HE GREAT
I love cake boss, and thanks TLC for giving us Buddy’s cooking show.
I have watched a couple of his cooking shows (not the baking ones) and to say his cooking is crap would be an understatement. Maybe he should actually look like he tastes his food before going ‘get outta here’ What does that mean anyway? And since when is salt delicious? Find some more adjectives and if I never try ‘hoboken style’ I’ll be very happy. I also wonder at his knife skills, can’t hold a knife and has no clue how to use it. Get outta here….ok I will. Crap show, crap cook, stick to baking.
You should watch his cake show.He makes the most insainly beautiful cakes. He once frosted a cake, made a rose and placed it on the cake blindfolded. His knife skilles are homespun thats what makes the show so great. He is a real cook that learned at his grandmother and mothers sides.I want to watch that kind of show.Ingrediants that I know and can pronounce.Keep up the great work Buddy.Love your family and workers, great show.
