A week after the second season premiere of Hardcore Pawn on TruTV, the cable network has ordered a third season of the unscripted series produced by Zodiak USA. The 13-episode Season 3 is slated to begin in mid-February, following the conclusion of the second season, now airing Tuesdays at 10 PM. Hardcore Pawn, which centers of American Jewelry and Loan owner Les Gold and his staff, drew 2.1 million viewers for its second season premiere last Tuesday. That matched the total viewer delivery of the show’s August premiere, which was truTV’s highest-rated series launch. In adults 18-49 and men 18-49, the Season 2 premiere was up 16% and 12%, respectively. Hardcore Pawn is executive-produced by Natalka Znak, Claire O’Donohoe, Mike Gamson, Richard Dominick as well as truTV’s Anthony Horn. In addition to Hardcore Pawn, Zodiak also produces All Worked Up for truTV, whose third season launched last week, as well as the upcoming All Worked Up spinoff Lizard Lick Towing, which premieres in February.

Les and both his children are so unbelievably nasty I refused to watch it after suffering through the first episode months ago. The other Pawn Star show with the father, son and grandfather is much better because they’re people you don’t want to punch in the face.

Its obviously staged for the amusement of the audience, but some of the ridiculous episodes make people think their garbage is worth much more than it really is. The bs on the Odds and Evens Pinball machine was incredible, they overpaid for a $400 run of the mill pinball, then claimed the $200 cleanup was thousands more, c’mon now! the true story is the interplay.
This Show is REAL!!!! I have personally been to the shop and love the show. Les takes care of his customers and is more than fair. Clearly the best pawn shop that I have ever delt with. Stern but more than fair…. I hope they have 50 seasons because I will dvr every one.
I don’t think the show is racist AT ALL (and I’m white!). It’s effing awesome. I work at a job where I deal with rude, ignorant ass clowns also. Yes, it’s hard to believe people really act like that, but they do. It doesn’t have to do with black or white it just has to do with people being ignorant, angry, self centered, rude m*tha effers. People wanting to cut in line, people throwing things on the floor, yelling. . .they are just HUGE ASSH*LES! I’m assuming the man that thinks the show is “racist” lives in an upscale community and has never seen people act like some of the people on the show do. Best show in the history of television. It might be a little orchestrated but it is real.
This show is racist point blank. Les gold, his ugly face bitch he calls a daughter and his punk ass son are low hearted racist creatures. I say so because their show does nothing more than degrades our black race today. This show although a pawn shop show gives no glory just shame to black people. Just simply take a look at it for yourself. For example there is a beautiful black woman who works in the pawn shop and the show damn near portrays her as a black slave. She is portrayed in the shop as if she is mindless, says absolutely nothing and the way the show is directed it is made towards she does nothing but take orders. Now you tell me if that don’t sound racist, a beautiful strong black woman made to appear as a little slave or a person in need of pay from the white man. I’m not a fan, or a hater, it’s an okay show and dramatizes the reality of crazy, nutty consumers. But, to say it is racist?! The show is terrible….I don’t know if this is theater or real, But I do know that I don’t enjoy what I am seeing…And this is not only my option……sitting with a few friends the other night and talking about this show, they all expressed the same bad ideas about the show….the father wants everyone to think that he a real “HARD BAD ASS” and is going to kick the crape out of anyone who rubs him the wrong way……and his wimp limp wristed son is even worst….they both keep mouthing off to the poor slobs that come into their store…..But the fact is… if it wasn’t for all the body guards (protection) they have in the store with them… ….they would NEVER open their mouths to anyone……,they would run and hide like the creeps they are….As for the daughter……please loss some weight and stop starring at people…..and I know (if this is real) that they are there to make money….but do you call this fair.?…they gave a old women 20 bucks for and old bicycle, and then Les says latter, that he can get a few hundred for it..not what I would call fair……I really hope that this show is really just all theater , because I hate to think that there could be a family with this much hate and self vanity and “SO FULL” of themselfs , all this plus robbing people to ………
