Here is a four-minute preview of the upcoming third season of NBC’s underrated comedy Parks and Recreation. After some great momentum in the second half of last season, the show was left on the bench for fall and is finally rejoining the schedule on Jan. 20 when NBC launches its 3-hour Thursday block. Parks & Rec is getting the best slot, following The Office at 9:30 PM.

Love this show. Can’t wait.
Underrated is right. After watching the pilot I swore it off as a weak imitation of the Office. But I happened to catch last year’s “Galentine’s Day” and was hooked. I’ve re-watched the second season twice, and it became my favorite show in the NBC comedy lineup. This is the premiere I’ve been waiting for all year and I really hope people give it a chance.
What a brilliant assessment!
Will Rob Lowe become the new Heather Locklear? Hmmm?
Love it and can’t wait! Not too thrilled about the unnecessary Lowe addition- the show was pretty perfect last season- but as long as it’s back, I’m happy.
Last season, the funniest network show each week was a toss-up between Parks and Recreation and Modern Family, making the ratings for Parks and Recreation maddening. I can’t wait for this to return and hopefully gain viewers after The Office.
HYSTERICAL!!!
YAY ITS BACK!
Not just the funniest show on NBC — it’s the funniest show on television! It’s also heartening to see so many female writers on staff. Can’t wait for Season 3!
I think the show is okay. The funniest on TV? Not even close. And But it’s sad to see a lack of male representatio on the writing staff.
FINALLY!! I love this show! Amy and Rashida are great on the show, and it is hilarious! Doesn’t anyone know what the delay was for?
THIS SHOW ROCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Can’t FREAKING wait! I really hope it’s new plum time slot will make it the big success it deserves to be.
This show is the best! Amy poehler is comic genius
