• I’m hearing that Gaga is going to be @ Elton and Madonna’s Oscar parties accompanied by you-know-who (his initials are P.H.)

  and also I’m hearing that:
  - Katie Holmes is going to make her solo debut as a single woman, sans Cruise at one of the big parties (possibly Elton’s party or the Vanity Fair afterparty)
  -Simon Cowell is going to be pimping out his lover/protege Cheryl Cole at Elton’s party
  -others to be at Elton’s party: Mamie Van Doren (and her 80 year old cleavage), Lisa Marie Presley, Kathy Griffin, and Florence + the Machine (performing)
  -John Travolta is either going to be with or without his wife Kelly Preston at either the Gov’s Ball or the Vanity Fair party (yes, the breakup rumors are starting again)

• SONG AND DANCE CRAP?!!!!! It’s amazing that those who profess to know and love Hollywood continue to be ignorant of its history. Has no one ever heard of Busby Berkeley, The Nicholas Brothers, Fred Astaire, Ginger Rogers, Sammy Davis Jr., Gene Kelly, Judy Garland, etc. Hollywood was created on a foundation of Musicals and Song and dance talent. LISTEN UP EVERYONE. People working in this business with attitudes similar to ALEX is what’s wrong with HOLLYWOOD and why this industry is failing. It’s being run by people who know nothing about the arts and can’t recognize or quantify true artistry. They don’t teach that in business school. Will we ever again celebrate authentic talent?
