Can’t wait. My kinda show!
I wish they’d give a premiere date for Made Men!!
“The Killing” is but one of hundreds of movies marketed over the last few years about killings.
Studios and in this case, the AMC TV network, will spend millions of dollars to make a movies about killing.
Basic question: What kind of person would PAY to sit in a public theater just to watch a movie about the killing of a teenage girl?
Hski -
First, it’s a tv show, not a movie.
Second, it’s not about the killing, but about the investigation and those people’s lives touched by the traumatic event.
Finally, nearly all tragic drama running back through Shakespeare and Greek tragedies deal with killing and the loss of life.
Who watches this stuff? Very normal people. For nearly all of history. Posts like yours drive me a little bonkers.
The lead in this show is a woman?
Oh well. Chalk this one up for eventual cancellation, then.
I really think forbrydelsen, ‘the killing’ will be lost in translation, once it is remade, as a lot of euro-tv has been through the year’s and vice versa.
I, for one, am looking forward to it. I’ve liked every show AMC’s offered so far, except for Rubicon, which I didn’t watch, as I can’t stand the lead.
