Warner Bros. TV TV Group SVP digital Brett Bouttier is probably getting a crash course on Lindsay Lohan and Charlie Sheen because he has just been named general manager of TMZ. He will work alongside TMZ executive producers Harvey Levin and Jim Paratore, overseeing TMZ ad sales as well as all day-to-day operations of the gossip brand’s television, online and mobile businesses. In addition, he will continue to manage Digital TV Ad Sales for WBTVG. Bouttier replaces Pam Russo who held the post for the past 2 years.

Way to go, Brett Bouttier!
you must be his ONLY fan
I used to work with him and he is poison
This guy is a complete fraud. How he gets promoted is amazing. Maybe he’s related to Jeff Zucker.
Guess Warners ran out of places to put him. Wonder what dirt he has on whom…because he’s the worst.
Anyone picking up on the fact that now there are NO women in management at TMZ? Not in editorial and now, with Pam leaving, none on the business side either. For a company run by smart, thoughtful and strong women (Telepictures), why TMZ is allowed to continuously offend women with its prurient and misogynist content and push female leadership out the door is the real outrage.
Hey, I have an idea. Let’s take a guy that has never really done anything well at Warner Bros., and a guy that might be the only person besides Hitler that is universally disliked, and place him in a great job at the hottest brand in the company. Probably should give him a raise too.
the wb furthers its legacy as having no clue how to deal with digital partners
