UPDATE: And if GMA and Today were still under the impression that they’ve gotten some kind of an exclusive with their Charlie Sheen sitdowns, the actor also did video interviews this morning with his favorite news outlets of late: TMZ an Radaronline.
“I’m supposed to be out there all humble and asking for my job,” Sheen said during the TMZ chat. “No, I don’t do that. I don’t understand what I did wrong except live a life that everyone is jealous of… I don’t know what I did to piss everyone off so much.”
He slammed CBS Corp. president and CEO Leslie Moonves for not firing Two and a Half Men showrunner Chuck Lorre. Asked if he would do the show if asked to stay clean he responded: “Bring it.”
PREVIOUS: In interviews for NBC’s Today show and ABC’s Good Morning America, Charlie Sheen toned down the name-calling from his recent radio rants a bit but continued to attack CBS and Warner Bros. for shutting down production on his hit comedy Two and a Half Men. In the GMA interview, he vowed to sue for “tons.”
“I’m gonna sue for what I’m worth and what I deserve and what they think they can take from me. They can’t,” Sheen said. “I don’t have a job. I got a whole family to support and love. And — people beyond myself, people a lot more important than me, are relying on that money to — fuel the magic.”
“I’m here to collect. They’re gonna lose. They’re gonna lose in a courtroom. So, I would recommend that they do an out of court settlement and fix this whole thing, and pay the crew, and get season nine back on board,” he said.
And how much would it cost Warner Bros. to have him back on Men? In the Today interview, Sheen demanded that the studio more than double his current salary to $3 million per episode. “Look what they put me through,” he said. “Come Wednesday morning, they’re going to rename it Charlie Bros. and not Warner Bros. Duh, winning!”
When it came to apologies for his verbal assaults over the past week, Sheen refused to give one to CBS. “They owe me a big one – publicly – while they lick my feet,” he told Today.
In the GMA interview, Sheen apologized to Men co-creator Chuck Lorre… sort of. “I’m sorry if I offended you,” he said. “I didn’t know you were so sensitive. I just thought, you know, after you whailing on me for eight years that I could like take a few shots back. I didn’t know you were gonna take your little ball and go home and punish everybody in the process.”
Also on GMA, Sheen admitted that he “probably took more than anybody could survive [on]” when it comes to drugs but is not afraid he might die. “Dying is for fools,” he quipped. Sheen said he stopped taking drugs a month to six weeks ago and swears he won’t relapse. “I’m not going to, period, the end,” he said. “I blinked and I cured my brain, that’s how.” The results from a drug test administered by Radaronline were revealed during the telecast, confirming that Sheen is indeed drug-free at the moment.
In the Today interview, Sheen said he has big plans for the future with starring roles in both film and TV. “I won best picture at 20,” Sheen said, a reference to best picture Oscar winner Platoon, which he filmed when he was 20. (He wasn’t nominated for the film). “I wasn’t even trying. I wasn’t even warm.” Here is clip from the GMA interview:

Martin. Emilio. Please intervene.
Signed,
America
I thinks it’s pretty shocking that WB and CBS only cut him off when he insulted Chuck Lorre.
The violence against women and endangering small children didn’t concern them. Les Moonves, Nina Tassler, Peter Roth and Chuck Lorre should be called on the carpet for this ugly and sad aspect of this cautionary tale.
Agree wholeheartedly.
You are assuming that his firing stems directly from insulting Chuck Lorre. More realistically, being so out of control that he publicly insulted his boss and making statements that had the Anti Defamation League in an uproar may finally have been the straw that caused advertisers to balk and pull their support.
No, you’re wrong. They pulled the plug when Sheen started insulting the studio heads and show creators directly. I don’t agree with Sheen’s antics, but they clearly didn’t care about anyone or anything else except when it started directly affecting them. Call a spade a spade, Peyton.
Advertisers balk? Gimme a break. And everyone knows the ADL has their lips on Hollywood’s ass and their hands in the studio’s purse. The average free thinker doesn’t give a rats ass what the ADL charges, particularly due to the countless times they’ve taken advantage of their own power and influence. Unfortunately, they’re about as useless these days as the ACLU.
Fact is, Charlie Sheen — buffoonery aside, has a case. That is, barring an inability to prove he’s been clean for the term of CBS/WB’s latest arrangement/agreement, determined between the two parties in early February. IF Charlie CAN prove he adhered to his end of the deal, then all of his statements — regardless of how vitriolic they may be, do not constitute WB/CBS pulling the trigger on the show. Keep in mind, the ‘totality of Charlie’s statements’ were all made on the heels of an egregious and publicly demeaning statement made by Lorre himself in the form of a card at the end of the show. CBS/WB would kindly like you to forget this fact, else tarnish their ostensible portrayal of playing the victim in this mess.
ANOTHER TACTIC — CBS/WB and company will attempt to scare a case away by suggesting airing Charlie’s dirty laundry will be damaging to his character and career, on top of humiliating him publicly. I’m afraid the press and Charlie has done that hatchet job already. (Sorry Charlie, but I’d keep your lips closed).
Believe me, Moonves and company DO NOT want a lawsuit. They are not laughing in their offices. If this case goes to trial, Charlie Sheen has a good chance at a settlement. But that’s not why they don’t want the case to go to trial. Here’s why: Regardless of the odds Charlie has at winning the case, the studio and networks would never want to risk setting a precendent on a case like this. A precedent would require new contractual language between players and the studios, cost tons of legal fees, not to mention opening an achilles heal in the studio and networks ability and unjustified power to shut down a show at will.
The real question here is WILL the real Marty Singer stand up? Does Singer want to piss the wrong people off? And only someone with Singer’s clout actually can. And you want to talk about dirty laundry? Marty Singer has files on Hollywood power players that would make the Devil blush.
I say, go after them Charlie. I say sue. You’ll get paid. I don’t know about winning, because it appears your drug addiction is seriously kicking your ass. Tell tale sign? Where the hell’s your family…
Absolutely agree.
Well if you understood how TV works, CBS had to wait until he was in breach of contract to shut down production so they would have no legal ramifications themselves. This is why they waited until he badmouthed HIS BOSSES. It’s sad that beating his wife, drugs, etc didn’t breach his contract. But Hollywood is Hollywood.
Charlie is really in charge. He is the man. He is the King of T.V. I back him 1000%. He is blowing the lid off this business in the best way possible. Things have been brewing and perking forever and no one’s had the balls to stand up to those bastards like Charlie has. God Bless you, boy! Go, Charlie! Team Sheen!
C’mon. We’re being Phoenix’d, right? Except I don’t see Casey Affleck anywhere with a handi-cam.
He’s right.
He doesn’t look healthy at all..
Howard Stern had a great comparison this morning.
He used to hang out with Sam Kinison when the comedian was in his coke heyday. Stern recalled how Kinison sounded EXACTLY like Charlie Sheen – raging at the world and using lots of big words, to fill up the empty space.
Sheen is volunteering for drug testing = CBS should immediately call his bluff and do a urine AND hair test to find out everything going through this man’s body.
Why isn’t Charlie Sheen ostracized as much as Mel Gibson…I mean is there any question that his behavior is worse?
Mel did the ultimate no-no. Charlie only insinuated it.
Who’s suing Who, think that might end up the reverse? Loss of income is the only thing that might wake Charlie up.
Lorre/CBS lawyers must be high fiving each other this morning. Good luck with that lawsuit Charlie once the jury sees just how fit you were for work.
Agree
Winning!
Winning! bi-winning, winning over here then winning over there. awesome stuff
Note to Charlie – you never won or was nominated for an Oscar. Platoon wasn’t just you. I hope someone is there for him when he goes into full nervous breakdown not just hookers taking pictures to sell to TMZ.
Memo to Apple
Charlie was one of the actors in Platoon. He can claim the oscar if he wants to do so.
I’m calling BS on that one. He HAPPENED to be in an Oscar winning movie. He got lucky ’cause “Hot Shots” and all of the straight to DVD material he’s done since then isn’t saying a whole lot about his “talent”.
Meanwhile, a shitload of media execs do their dashboard lines, then amble into the morning meeting, tapping their fingers, eyes darting, trying to hide their reaction when the women they sleep with on the staff roll in, late everyday.
Charlie Sheen, indeed. The town is full of them. Difference is, he’s on TV.
That’s Charlie Sheen?? – Man, is he doing meth too…
That’s what I thought, too. He has methface, totally.
All this is very sad, for him and his family.
I’m thinking Charlie should go up to Canada and spend some time with Randy Quaid. Maybe they’ll cancel each other out somehow.
CBS should replace him with Emilio Estevez.
Jed should really get Abby and CJ to talk some sense into this kid.
Alternatively, Martin should get Sorkin to write him a killer father-son speech.
Well, this is good news for Lindsey Lohan. At least she’ll be booted from the tabloids.
And if I were CBS, PLEASE sue me. Dragging his dirt through the public via discovery and trial would just be flat out fun.

This poor guy has lost his mind.
Love how he says HE won best picture. No Charlie, the film won best picture and a boatload of other awards but you didn’t win any. You weren’t nominated for any either
Good Grief…get Sheen a straight jacket and bed at the nearest mental institution.
He wants a RAISE? Does he not understand that he’s never working again, ever?
I don’t know about that. Robert Downey, Jr. turned it all around so it is possible.
I’m too young to remember but was RDJ ever that bad? Or worse?
If he was, then wow Sheen could learn a LOT from RDJ. If Martin and Emilio can’t talk sense into Charlie then maybe RDJ could?
I don’t think the comparison holds. To the best of my memory RDJ blamed no one but himself and didn’t lash out at his employers. He was sick, but not violent and crazy.
Charlie’s a full grown man, he doesn’t want to be saved (or more accurately, doesn’t want to save himself), he has delusions of grandeur, he’ll likely die soon. It’s his call.
What makes RDJ impressive is that what he managed is not really that common. I just don’t think Sheen has it in him, not without a massive fall first.
RDJ once showed up to an interview with Mike Figgis at a restaurant (the first time they met). He was high on coke and heroin, carrying a gun, and barefoot.
Isn’t megalomania charming?
FUNNY
This is sad, watching Charlie Sheen self-destruct like this in public. But it is also great fun.
