EXCLUSIVE: David Semel has been tapped to direct Jonathan Nolan’s CIA drama pilot Person of Interest, which is being executive produced by J.J. Abrams. The CBS project, from Warner Bros. TV and Abrams’ Bad Robot, is a crime drama centered on a CIA agent, presumed dead, who is recruited by a reclusive billionaire to wage war against violent criminals in New York City. Semel has directed the pilots for such series as NBC’s Heroes, A&E’s The Cleaner and, most recently, ABC’s No Ordinary Family.

Alright… Let’s just put this one on the fall schedule.
does the show include a talking car named Kitt and maybe David Hasselhoff?
Wish this was an NBC show. It would be a great replacement for that low rated POS Chuck. Please tell me that show will be cancelled, why does NBC keep promoting it?
LOL you got it sparc. Sounds like a cross between Knight Rider and The Equalizer only without the car.
This is an amazing script and Semel will execute the hell out of this pilot. Good for CBS as this is not their typical fare.
Semel is a top notch guy!! PLUS he’s got a baseball cap from the defunct restaurant “CIUDAD”….right David!!!
his publicist definitely earned her fee this month!
but who else cares about this?
Is this going? whats Mr Semel up to for the next little bit.
