Following the success of last year’s Glee tour, 20th Century Fox TV and Glee co-creator Ryan Murphy this morning announced a second Glee Live! In Concert! North American concert tour starring 13 Glee cast members. The tour will kick off on May 21 at the Mandalay Bay Event Center in Las Vegas. It will be followed by the previously announced European engagement. “The cast and I were so moved by the love and enthusiasm of our fans at last year’s concerts that we knew we had to do it again,” said Murphy. “There is something magical about thousands of ‘Gleeks’ coming together to share a special night with our cast, and this tour is one way we can thank them for their unbelievable support from the beginning.” Participating in the tour are Lea Michele, Cory Monteith, Amber Riley, Chris Colfer, Kevin McHale, Jenna Ushkowitz, Mark Salling, Dianna Agron, Naya Rivera, Heather Morris, Harry Shum, Jr., Chord Overstreet and Darren Criss.

Are they still cheating the cast out of profit participation on all the ancillary music that FOX sells? To date they’ve shortchanged the cast millions of dollars by telling them the music sales are separate from their acting contracts. As for the magical Gleeks it’s starting to resemble a cult and it frightens me. They should buy my book instead they’ll learn more by golly.
Why this release before Monday ratings?
Oh. Right.
Perhaps that sentence should read “participating in the *contractually obligated* tour are…” Geez, does any show work its cast this hard? Cory Monteith actually showed up at my front door on Sunday to remind me to watch “Glee” after the Super Bowl and offered to set my DVR.
Ryan Murphy can’t burn this franchise up faster…
I guess he wants to get back to directing very bad movies.
Any show that glorifies sexual deviancy and moral depravity is NOT a family show.
I love Glee and of course Lea Michele! I can’t wait to hear her amazing singing voice as Dorothy in Dorothy of OZ!!!
