is krasinski on a nic cage type mission to be in the worst films possible??
this makes license to wed look like a winner
He’s on a network show – not like he has the biggest choice of roles in the world. Not like anyone else from “The Office” (except Carrell) is even getting feature roles…
True. Also I believe his performance in “Away We Go” killed his potential film career. Not everyone is a screen actor folks.
This movie is based on Emily Giffin’s wonderful novel–and it looks like *fingers crossed* the movie is staying pretty true to the book. Can’t wait!!!
jon krasinski is the most boring thing on the office, how he’s even cast in any movies is beyond me. but i guess the world needs bad movies…
Whatever this trailer was lacking, it certainly wasn’t helicopter shots of Manhattan.
Seriously, can’t a romantic comedy take place in Boston or Dallas or Portland for a change?
Kate Hudson is fast becoming the movie “girl frenemy”.
What’s up w/ all of these movies pitting women against each other for the favors of men?
How is that even remotely funny let alone empowering?
I seriously agree. So tiresome.
LOUD music.
John K trying to act.
20-something romantic angst.
Hollywood is officially creatively bankrupt.
When it comes to rom-com, Hollywood is will always go with the same old same old.
Why is Anne Hathaway now being billed as Gennifer Goodwin? And why don’t they give us a little bit of Candice Bergin in the trailer?
I mean, this IS “Bride Wars” being re-released in 3-D, or something, right?
Oh dear God I could not watch this. I tried TWICE but just couldn’t finish it. Appallingly bad doesn’t even cut it. This is just disgusting. I don’t know if I want to cry or throw up.
I think the word “hot” is being misused again here.
fan of j. krasinski here. so it hurts me to see him in yet another kate hudson movie nightmare. this movie will do fine on usa network in a few years and bring joy to those just chillin’ at home on a saturday night. but wow, it looks like 28 other films released in the last 5 years – all starring kate hudson.
Correct, all romantic comedies MUST take place in Manhattan. It’s part of the RomCom Bible which was written hundreds of years ago and must not be questioned. Something about foreigners liking helicopter shots of Manhattan set to Frank Sinatra crooning something. It will always be this way.
Major casting fail with Ginnifer Goodwin as the “plain” friend — the woman is stunning, gorgeous, all that. Yes, more beautiful than Kate Hudson but Kate Hudson is blonde, so thanks to the romcom code I know she’s the one who’s supposed to be beautiful and Ginnifer Goodwin has brown hair so she’s supposed to be “plain.” Uh mkay got it.
Forgive me but I see nothing “gorgeous” about her. She is the very definition of “plain” (not ugly nor particularly gorgeous)
So this is ‘pre’ bride wars?
goodwin is hot; but how does kate hudson still get work?
Mousy girl afraid to stick up for herself – CHECK. Clueless, self-centered blond bitch – CHECK. Handsome male lead who is unbelievably, unrealistically, retardedly somehow unaware that his gal pal has a crush on him – CHECK. Scene with girls singing and/or dancing – CHECK. Horrible, tired, physical comedy with someone running into something or falling down – CHECK.
MY. GOD. THIS. IS. TIRED.
Maybe it’s called “Something Borrowed” because every single element in this film is “borrowed” from another movie.
After hearing many stories about Kate Hudson’s bitchy, diva-ish on-set behavior, there’s a perverse joy in watching a trailer of yet another train wreck.
Holy balls is this woman unwatchable.
Actually feel bad for Krasinski. Ever since he hooked up with Pam on the office, nobody cares for him. Now people only care about Ed Helms. His character has a bigger more interesting role on the office now and he is a big success in films, hangover, H2, and cedar rapids.
Krasinski should find out who reps helms and make the switch. All that being said, he still makes lots of cash and has a hot wife!
also this film look bad. IS it just me or does Kate Hudson look awful?
Can’t blame Kate. She was paid close to 10 million for this. amazing…
Looks horrendous. Then again, it’s a Hollywood rom-com so that’s pretty much a given. It seemed like the trailer would never end, that’s how bad it looks.
Kate Hudson is doing too many of these type of movies….
Did Heigl pass?
I can’t wait for this movie – I’ve always loved the book and I think that this could be the best role for Kate Hudson since Almost Famous (and not just because the character has the same name as me!)
Also, really thought it was awesome that they used the song “Fireflies” by Search/Rescue in the first half of the trailer – hope they have more Search/Rescue in the movie, too. Does anybody know the song at the end of the trailer, though? Loved that as well but can’t find it.
End of trailer song is “A Little Too Much” by Natasha Bedingfield.
