they chose wisely.
Dodd and Frank are the single most responsible for the housing crash …both should be in prison. Typical move for this limo lib, disgusting excuse for a “public servant” This phony belongs with his own.
Well said!!!
*rolls eyes* Yes, we all know the constant Pro-corporation policies, deregulation drumroll that started in the Reagan ’80s had NOTHING to do with financial mess this country found itself in. Save it for the Fox News Boards.
Riddle me this:
What do being a Senator and head of the MPAA have it common?
Answer:
They both live to serve their corporate masters.
i think Lou Wasserman would probably approve
he picked Valenti.
The Peter Principle in action again…
Perfect choice…an irrelevant scandal tainted Senator who couldn’t even run again in his own state with an the irrelevant and impotent MPAA.
This will only speed up the demise of MPAA.
That being said, I have a feeling no one else really wanted this job anyway.
The industry is in real trouble, heading the MPAA is not a kick-back gig.
Dodd is too damaged, he can’t get anything done. That’s why he fled the Senate.
Plus, Dodd’s lack of a chin is really unnerving. Find someone with a pugnacious Jack Valenti jawline.
I’m trying to think of a worse choice. Can’t think of one.
Dodd is no Valenti. Dodd doesn’t seem to have dealmaker skills necessary for the job. Valenti always had a charm and common sense approach to issues. Dodd strikes me as unpersuasive and shrill.
