EXCLUSIVE: Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos’ Milojo Prods. has come on board to co-produce with Charlie Corwin’s Original Media the second season of the docu-series Be Good Johnny Weir, which chronicles the flamboyant figure skater as he mounts his upcoming ice skating stage show Spectacular. The 10-episode second season is now in production for a summer run on the gay-centered cable channel Logo. Additionally, Milojo and Original Media, along with Weir’s Fireworks Management, will spearhead the development and production of Spectacular. “I am so honored and excited to have Kelly and Mark on board with Be Good Johnny Weir!,” Weir said. “I have looked up to them for a long time and they have been two of my biggest cheerleaders so it only seems natural that our creativity comes together.” The first season of Be Good Johnny Weir aired on the Sundance Channel last summer. The show moved to Logo in December when the cable channel picked up the first season and greenlighted a second. The second season is executive produced by Corwin and Peterson for Original Media, Ripa, Consuelos and Albert Bianchini for Milojo and David Barba and James Pellerito for Retribution Media. This is the second collaboration between New York-based production companies Original and Milojo, following their work together on TLC’s Masters of Reception in 2009.

Do they plan to rename the show “Welcome to My World: The life of a fabulous narcissist”
That’s some really good news! I can’t wait for the second season of Be Good… and Weir’s “spectacular”.
Boy o boy. Kelly Ripa blew it. Had a great opportunity to have a huge career. Instead is just okay.
I will continue to defend Kelly whenever I see such crummy comments. What an ignorant thing to write. Kelly is having a great career while getting to be near her kids. If she’s happy with her life, why the heck do you care?
Kelly is beautiful. I think she should have been a movie star.
I love Johnny Weir (even though-yes Mandy!-he is a narcissist) nut Kelly Ripa, I do not.
Kelly is great! There isn’t anything she can’t do. She’s the impeccable host, she can do comedy, dance, sing, and she can act. She’s worth everything they pay her. If ABC was smart they would’ve kept her on their primetime schedule.
Just put a dress on him and call him Mary. Sheesh.
ah so now they produce reality shows— i guess its better than the soaps…
Having worked with both Mark and Kelly, I can tell you that they are two of the biggest phonies out there. Shallow, vapid and without any true human emotion. Kelly is a smoker (ewwww) and Mark is living in her shadow. This is my personal experience of them both.
What an incredibly useless comment.
I’m going to go out on a limb and say your claim to have “worked” with them is a complete lie. If you had, then your criticisms would in some way reflect your WORK experience — some example of their unprofessionalism or their poor treatment of underlings. SOMETHING. Instead, your “insightful” comment is that Kelly smokes and that Mark is not as successful as she??? Really??? As I said, thoroughly USELESS comment.
I agree they are really two phonies. Mark is such a loser. He has no talent. He just follows Kelly around like a puppy. So they are going to produce a show. Will it fail just as the homemade millionare, Hope and Faith and Masters of Reception. Kelly and Mark are jokes. Read the forums you will see how people make fun of them.
What a wonderful attraction
Well, I can tell you that having also worked with them, they’re two of the nicest, professional people I’ve ever worked with. They can easily act all “Hollywood”, but they never do. They’re down to earth, collaborative, and respectful of everyone around them — no matter how high or low on the totem pole. If you really worked with them, you would’ve experienced the same thing, so you’re obviously just a hater.
