Two and a Half Men star Charlie Sheen won’t have to bang on the doors of the show’s stage anymore. After a four-week hiatus, production on the hit CBS comedy will resume on Feb. 28, a date Sheen floated in his radio interview with Dan Patrick on Monday. As previously speculated, Warner Bros. TV will produce 4 more episodes of Men, filming on on March 4, 11, 18 and 25. That is four segments short of the comedy’s 24-episode order. In his Monday radio interview, Sheen, who has been undergoing rehab treatment, said he was ready to go back to work. “They said ‘You get ready and we’ll get ready’,” he said. “I got ready and went back and nobody was there ” Sheen said, adding that he lost his voice banging on the show’s stage doors.

The world can breathe easier now.
I’m wondering how many actresses dread the thought of having to kiss Charlie Sheen when cast as a love interest, I mean sex object, on his show? I cringe at the thought!
What kind of lunatic bangs on the stage door, especially shouting to the point you lose your voice?? They’re obviously not there… Any normal person would walk over to the production office or call the Producer on their cell phone and ask whats happening.
Sheen will never learn if they keep letting him behave this way. But, the show makes $$$$$$$
Actors…
Underneath Charlie Sheen’s bravado and bullish behaviour is a half a man screaming for help. Not that I have been that close to hear those piercing cries, but I am pretty sure, judging by the belaboured and pretty, boringly ‘UN complicated’ reality TV series that came from one of his ex’s camp, I would want to let out a wail or two also. The fact that she has rushed to his side might suggest a bit of desperate reinvention is under way on her part, but hey, that’s just a cynic thinking aloud.
Granted, Mr Sheen who may have lost a touch of gloss along the way, is a narcissist and an exhibitionist, what ‘entertainer’ isn’t either of these things. And, he probably realises that the public now expects him to ‘act’ a certain way – so he’s been given a sort of, ‘Carte Blanche’ creative licence, if you will – ‘do the deed before it goes to script, nice.’
Let’s face it, not many actors of ‘his’…..(shall we say for kindness sake) status, have had his sort of longevity in the business. He’s been around since Moses chiselled those 10 commandments into stone for us to follow, but missed Sheen’s address, so…he must be doing something right. Men behaving badly makes for good ratings. If you want reality TV, he’s it, the ultimate in scripted reality TV. He says what everyone would like to say and ‘possibly’ entertains himself ‘or has a little help from some friends’ just like most men would – and let’s face it, hookers don’t judge, can’t afford to and that’s in all ways.
No, I’m just counting the days, especially after reading this morning’s headline regarding Sheen’s housing allocation for the ‘family’, to when FOX comes out with the boy’s NEW series called – Two Babettes, Four Babes and a Broken Man!
Somewhere in Vegas there’s an over/under line starting on his date of death. The only question is, is it in days, weeks or years?
CBS is sucking every last ounce of marrow out of the Masheen before their cash cow finally gives out. Keepin’ it classy, Les.
This is an addict, who has YOUNG children, who will NEED their father. Not his money. Their father.
If Charlie Sheen truly cared about his children he probably would have stopped have them out of wedlock and then abandoning them to the mother or his parents to take care of.
They are screwing the crew big time there’s no reason why they can’t continue taping until the end of April don’t cheat the crew out of four episodes salary do the final four so you have new episodes for May sweeps. Then fire Charlie and spend the summer figuring out how to continue without the idiot loser who is beyond help.
Insane. Charlie Sheen is now running the CBS television network. Everyone involved has whored themselves beyond redemption.
Charlie should be given Les Moonves’s job if you think about it Charlie is more in touch with the audience who watches CBS shows. Les is old and out of touch. Charlie has his finger on the pulse of America he’s more popular than Les and people just like him more. He’ll also live much longer than Les will. The best thing Les can do for the future profitability of CBS is to fire Charlie from Two and a Half Men then in the ultimate act of self-sacrifice Les should appoint Charlie his #2 Sr. VP then Les must resign with dignity so Charlie will be able to become President of CBS Television. Come on Les do a good deed here. Your time is up. Let Charlie run CBS for the next ten years. You’ll have more fun on the golf course it’s time for you to retire so Charlie can start programming the network. He’s more qualified than you are to pick new hit shows.
Mother Evelyn gathers sons Alan and Charlie (okay, back of his head) and 6 foot 3 grandson Jake together. Even Berta and Rose are present. She confides her lifelong secret that during her marriage to the boys’ father, she had a son that she gave away. They just found each other and he’s coming to stay. Charlie, outraged, runs off to London with Rose. John Stamos, a New York commercials director, joins Alan and Jake in the Malibu casa.
How about Charlie od’s and dies, family freaks but to keep gravy train rolling slap huge dark glasses on cadaver and pretend he’s just “out of it” all the time and rename show “Weekend At Charlie’s”? Hilarity ensues, look for “wacky” and “zany” antics.
How about if that luxury Malibu beach house has its mortgage foreclosed. The bank evicts all of them. No way Charlie Harper could afford to live there writing jingles for commercials in the first season that’s what he did now he doesn’t do any work at all. Now they are homeless. Charlie gets arrested and sent to San Quentin so at least he has a roof over his head. The rest of them have to live in a flop house in east L.A. it’s still two and a half men just different.
Who Cares?? Does anyone watch this show? and why does Charlie Sheen always seem to be wearing the same heinous Hawaiian/Tommy Bahama shirt whenever he’s in the press or in a pub photo from the show? Good God i bet he lives in a gated, McMansion community- no taste
@ Adolph Zucker: Absolutely correct. I’ve seen his LA manse…expensive, tasteless. But what just struck me is how much Charlie Sheen loathes himself. The sheer volume of his vice intake clearly indicates the man sees a spiritual, respected father and a brother (Emilio) who is admired and a far superior actor/filmmaker and thus, finds himself contemptible. The party animal facade is not only cracking but also falling off in huge, painful chunks, and shame on all of us for living viscerally though his wreckage. Until Charlie Sheen understands that and accepts himself completely for not only his faults but for even punitive positive self-values as well, he is doomed.
Hmm….’Something Is Rotten in the State of Denmark’ or ‘Something smells in Cairo’…..Or perhaps, ‘Something is afoot in the house of Sheen?’
I mean…is there a touch of family rivalry hinted at here???
Charlie Sheen is acting Cherlie Sheen’s life on Two and a Half Men. His character is just his life being re-enacted. Is this the lessson we want our children to learn about alchohol and random sex? CBS should ax it, as each show is the same: Alan being told to move out, Jake being dumb and food-addicted, Charlie screwing any bimbo, whether they have a disease or not, Charlie getting drunk, etc. It’s the Charlie Sheen Show, not Two and a Half Men. When a program oversteps its bounds, and refelects the worst of society, the networks have a responsibility to remove it from its line-up. How else will we teach our children right vs. wrong?
Um, by telling them not to watch crappy TV shows?
By your logic, if Two and a Half Men has the power to turn your children into drunken whoremongers, then the The Big Bang Theory has the power to turn them into brilliant physicists. So maybe you should just have them watch that.
Well…you might like to teach yourself how to spell, that could be a start!
No one but 14 million people each week.
I recently heard that Charlie got a contract stating whatever crap he does it does not affect his contract on the show. Anyone who could confirm that?
Beneath all Charlie sheen has done he’s does a great job on the show! I wish they would film a whole season!:(
Sheen can blame everyone else he wants to, but the fact remains his love of booze and drugs brought the house down. What a shameful spectacle he is to his children.
I love his show, but let’s face it, it is kind of raw and his character is certainly no role model-he ruined it for every actor and crew member associated with the show. He has no one to blame but himself and I don’t think I will be watching the show until he cleans up his act expecially his mouth.
He comes from an extremely liberal family of actors, but even they never acted this way. Sheen is damaged material and should be shunned by the tv industry until he gets his life together.
