    Much of Nikki’s popularity as well as that of this site comes from the fact that she doesn’t shy away from her opinions. (Mike Fleming follows that mold.)

    You may want to go to another site, but I don’t think you’ll find this type of breaking, not to mention, free, news anywhere.

• If Cap. America and Thor are as good as I’m hearing then Nolan and Cameron’s b.o. records will be shattered handily. It is without a doubt the big kahuna of comic book movies. And this is not a niche crowd film like Kick Ass and Scott Pilgrim. The Avengers couldn’t be any more mainstream than the X-Men. Hulk — Cap — Thor — Iron Man — Sexy Scarlett as Black Widow — Sam J. as Nick “fuckin’” Fury. It’s like Christmas. I can’t wait.

  • My guess is that the only people singing the praises of THOR & C.A. are the people involved. The THOR trailer was practically unwatchable; not that anyone gives a crap about a 3rd/4th tier superhero who’s only real play was a 2-minute “cameo” by Vincent D’Onofrio in Adventures in Babysitting 20 years ago… bombs away!

• Although the fact that the marvel universe is converging into one movie which is VERYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY cool (they should include Spiderman and wolverine, just for the hell of it), I’m MORE interested in the HBO film actually. I love it when SLJ takes on deeper characters than the action hero ones he nails like a porn star imo

    I completely agreed.SLJ has become to much of a money whore and is doing too many money grab films.To me, his best performances were in movies like
    The Caveman’s Valentine , The Negotiator, and Unbreakable.And I know Unbreakable was a comic book movie, but the character seem far more interesting then the Nick Fury type tough guy.
