The CW drama Vampire Diaries has been building all season to the introduction of the villain Klaus, the original vampire. Joseph Morgan has now been signed to play him. Morgan, who’ll next be seen in the Henry Cavill-starrer Immortals, played supporting roles in the Peter Weir-directed Master and Commander, and Oliver Stone’s Alexander. He plays the title character in ABC’s upcoming miniseries Ben Hur. He was set for the show after more than 100 actors read for the role all over the world. Morgan’s deal was made by WME, Richard Koenigsberg Management and London-based Curtis Brown Group.

It will not b a great surprise if they just reveal who’s Klaus like this. At least we will know he is Klaus if he appears, they should’ve kept it a surprise.

A new character on the show would be great but please, could someone tell the powers that be the CW; enough of Katherine, she is probably the most unlikeable character on tv today. She adds nothing to the show and quite frankly if she continues to be a character I’m gone. As much as I love the show I hate her character and doesn’t Nina Dobrev have enough to without having to be Katherine too!
Actually the way I understand it most TVD fans love Katherine, myself included. I think she adds a great deal to the show, and with Damon having gone a little soft lately (not complaining, I love character growth) I think Katherine’s character (and John’s for that matter) is very important to give us the people we love to hate
And Nina Dobrev is just doing as amazing job as both Elena and Katherine! Besides she’s fun, snarky, bitchy she’s awesome 
I always thought klaus would be older in age over 60 and has a scary looking face i was realy surprised to see him as a young man. I guess i have to get used to the new image now
