Zach Braff has signed with Management 360. Braff, who continues to be repped by CAA, most recently rewrote to direct Swingles, the comedy that is produced by Brad Weston and Kevin Misher that seems poised to come out of Paramount. The comedy was set there years ago when the studio bought the spec script by Duncan Birmingham. Cameron Diaz, who was attached way back then, has come back around on the romantic comedy about a guy and girl who lose their respective “wingman and wingwoman” who helped each work the dating scene. The guy and girl (who don’t like each other) try to carry on by teaming up to meet singles. Braff had been managed by Industry Entertainment. While the former Scrubs star directed episodes of his series, he hasn’t helmed a feature since the his well regarded 2004 debut, Garden State, which he starred in alongside Natalie Portman. Braff is also booked to direct the original play All New People in New York this summer.

congrats to 360 and gaymon casady who deserves special mention
Another relationship comedy completely divorced from reality. Keep ‘em coming.
Wait a minute I have a great idea for this to make it really original. What if the guy and girl who don’t like each other fall in love with each other? By working as each other’s wing-person they realize that they are perfect for each other. Now that’s a rom-com people have never seen before. They realize they’ve been wasting time trying to meet other singles because all along they were meant to be together you know like soulmates.
lol
Shocker! CAA places a client at M360!
Does Zach have much life left in him? Is this industry (Sandra chang’s) loss or her gain that she doesnt need to hear any more of his whining?
zach “bratt” is a tool, what a dumb move. see you on lifetime in 2012!
gosh someone actually wants to work with zach??? have they met him?
Sandra Chang did so much for this ingrate. Sadness.
Zach Braff is a smug, talentless hack whose appearances on screen literally make my skin crawl. Who cares what other smug, talentless hack is going to represent him?
He plays the same patronizing, jaded idiot in every role and is neither funny nor attractive. It boggles the mind. I’m guessing he has stage parents from hell and/or a well-placed uncle.
I am still cringing from the 20 minutes I could endure of Garden State five years ago.
Sandra Chang did great by him…she got his best years… “Next, who called?”
I love this guy. “Scrubs” was great, as was his feature work in “Garden State,” and the terribly underrated “The Last Kiss.” What happened to his feature career?
I’m not in the entertainment business so I ask this rudimentary question: What are the main differences between an agent and a manager? Why have both? Thank you in advance.
Braff was lucky to have Chang as long as he did. Word is he’s turned into an ego-driven monster; and clearly it’s really helped his career. Let’s hope 360 continues to concentrate on his Lit career as his Talent one seems either poised for more TV or indie fare as he’s not proven to be a star.
A-f’n-men!
And it gets worse and worse.
