Undercovers star Boris Kodjoe has joined ABC’s pilot Georgetown, an ensemble drama about young staffers on Capitol Hill. Kodjoe, repped by Gersh and Untitled, will play the Democratic president’s fiercely intelligent senior adviser.

Tom Arnold has been cast in ABC’s half-hour pilot Other People’s Kids. The multicamera comedy centers on Adam (Jesse Bradford), a 32-year-old with no responsibilities who suddenly finds himself with an insta-family when he falls in love with an older woman, Michelle (Bonnie Sommerville), who has two kids, an ex-husband and ex-in-laws. Arnold, repped by Gersh and KLWG, will play the guest starring/recurring role of the lover of Michelle’s ex-husband’s mother’s (Judith Light).

Rescue Me alum Lenny Clarke has joined NBC’s comedy pilot Are You There Vodka? It’s Me Chelsea. Inspired by Chelsea Handler’s bestselling autobiographical book about her party-rich life in her 20s, the Warner Bros/.Werner Entertainment project centers on Chelsea Hanson (Laura Prepon), an alcohol-loving, oversexed cocktail waitress. Clarke will play her father, a big man with a big personality who, like his daughter, has no filter.

Comedian Mo Mandel has been cast in NBC’s single-camera comedy pilot Free Agents. The romantic comedy, based on the UK series of the same name, explores the attraction between two quirky PR executives working together – Alex (Hank Azaria) and Helen – who both are on the rebound, Alex from a divorce and Helen from the loss of a fiance. Mandel, repped by WME and 3 Arts, will play Dan, who tells tall tales about his exploits with woman. Earlier this season, Mandel had a high-concept comedy project in the works at NBC.
