Charlie Sheen is ‘Winning’ his fight with CBS. This is a sign posted on the wall of CBS Radford, which was snapped earlier today by our managing editor Patrick Hipes. It is not clear if Sheen will be flattered by the support of his fans or blast them for peddling unauthorized merchandise. The Two and a Half Men star is reportedly releasing an official line of Charlie Sheen products, with T-Shirts carrying the Winning slogan as one of the top items. As for the selected location for the Charlie Sheen banner, CBS Radford houses CBS’ top brass. The Warner Bros. TV-produced Two and a Half Men is based on the Warner Bros. lot, which banned the actor from entering a week ago.

I heard that one of Chuck’s clever friends was selling out of his ‘Winning’ T-Shirts like hot contraband on a Saturday night. But, unfortunately for the poor fellow with the high IQ, he had spelt – ‘WHINING’ on the front and couldn’t understand why people were pointing and laughing hysterically at him.
Chuck needs to figure out that when you stop whining, you start winning.

The long term thinking in your many posts concerning Charlie Sheen has captured my imagination and respect. Real eye openers. If only you and Chuck had a chance to tea in person, a long, long time ago.
Chuck’s ego, of course, prevented that engagement, as well as many necessary realizations, now, long overdue. I fear it will take far more than a simple job loss, and more time, more than year, obviously, for Chuck to reach a new chemical normal.
Better to have lost — big — and learn, than to never learn at all.
Perhaps someday soon (today? tomorrow?) a news entity will use restraint and not report on every little thing that happens in Charlie Sheen’s world. The whole thing makes me sad in ways I can’t even explain.

Warner Brothers was under no obligation to pay the crew the remaining four weeks of work. Charlie brought it out in his various rants that they should be paid. Warner Brothers took the high road and cheap publicity to come out looking pretty good. If the series had been cancelled due to ratings, Warner Bros. rightfully so would have said thanks, wrap out and catch you on the next one. They should not take another generous and responsible step with their other productions. Under the agreement with the producers, Location Mangers are not entitled to gas reimbursement for all of the driving they due in their particular jobs. Why not temporarily look pass the written agreement and lend a hand to this department. It is almost at the point that for some in the Location Departments-staying home doesnt cost you money.
These men and women work hard-and all the studios know it. Opening this door to reimbursement isn’t a duty or obligation. It is clearly a sign of Hey times are really tough Here is where we can have a meeting of the minds and help out people who bust their rear ends to make good product for us. 2030BTD

I can’t believe I’m saying this, but yes, Charlie Sheen really IS “winning” this fight in public now. Can you imagine what the ratings would be for a newly filmmed episode of 2 1/2 Men? Think about this: if they did it live like 30 Rock did earlier this season, it’d be as big as the Superbowl. I say they should go for it. Even I would watch that and I think that show sucks.
His show has been put on hold along with his giant paychecks, he’s lost custody of two of his kids to a woman currently in rehab, and he’s going to have a much more difficult time seeing his other kids.
Does that sound like winning to you? Sounds like losing big time to me.
But hey, at least he has over a million follower’s on twitter. Perhaps they can take the place of his kids.

All of those things are actual news. And the entertainment news is at least interesting. Charlie Sheen is as of right now “unemployed”. While his tale is interesting, like rubbernecking a car accident, it isn’t really news.
Yes, Charlie and his ilk are responsible for all the hate aimed at the US….No, other countries and cultures don’t have their own dysfunction…..the US is the only spot in the world where crazy lingers……How can we as Americans bear it-not being as perfect as Denmark, France, Great Britain, Saudi Arabia, Nigeria, Pakistan, Australia…..??

CBS and WB TV should announce this week that they are replacing Charlie with another actor and they’re terminating his contract with legal cause. This insanity has to end and that’s the only way to do it. Let Charlie sue for a billion dollars if he wants to take him to court and let a jury hear all the horrible things he’s done. All you have to do is show a jury all the videos of Charlie from the last two weeks to prove how insane he is and how unfit for work he still is. Also release the complete and total amount of money Charlie has been paid to date from the show every dollar including the DVD and syndication money. It’s time to start influencing the jury pool. Take the offensive against this lunatic, he’s been driving the narrative nonstop for the last two weeks and people have had enough. Fire him and let Marty Singer file a lawsuit it’ll take a year or longer to go to trial and by then the show will be over or if ratings are good with a new actor the show can be renewed for another season.
It doesn’t matter what C Sheen has said and done in the past. It is dependant on the language in his employment contract with WB/CBS. All of the past information cannot be brought into a termination.
My understanding is that there was no morals clause in his contract. WB/CBS will negotiate a cash settlement, the negative publicity is costing them more money than a pay out. C Sheen has accomplished exactly what he set out to do. I do think the other cast members and crew deserve to be paid by WB/CBS.
CBS, WB and Chuck Lorre did exploit Sheen by keeping him on even after he stabbed his wife and threatened to kill her. Violence against women and children means nothing to these CBS/WB execs. Neither did Sheen’s fragile mental health or drug abuse.
But when he called Chuck Lorre, Chaim… he was in trouble.

Charlie committed a terrible sin by mentioning Chaim Levine in a derogatory fashion. Apparently it was supposed to be kept a secret or something? The irony is that they were willing to overlook all of Charlie’s other sins none of those really mattered they were making huge money from him and looked forward to making more money. That’s the irony Lorre himself is now going to lose money by throwing a hissy fit over what Charlie said, CBS and Warners will also lose money. They are in a very bad spot at the moment. They have to swallow their Jewish pride or stand tall and refuse to bring him back because he inadvertently offended them. What will they do?
