Fox reps have confirmed a TMZ report that actor Charlie Sheen met on Thursday with several top Fox executives. I have the details. The sitdown, which happened on the Fox lot, was set up by Fox Sports for Sheen to speak with Fox Sports president David Hill. But then Hill invited Fox entertainment chairman Peter Rice and alternative president Mike Darnell. All three top execs were present at the meeting with Sheen. Word is that no show ideas were pitched from either side at what turned out to be an exploratory meeting. It is unclear whether Sheen would do anything specifically for Fox Sports, but Charlie is a big sports fan with a passion for baseball (he starred in the Major League movie franchise). Sheen also has become a major draw on Fox Sports Radio with his frequent appearances on the Dan Patrick Show, which is simulcasting on Fox Sports Net. The news comes amid unconfirmed tabloid chatter that CBS wants Sheen to return to Two and a Half Men following his recent dismissal from the hit show.

He’d do well on talk radio, alongside Howard Stern and Opie & Anthony. Sirius XM is still alive and kickin’, right? Also, a halfhour Sheen doing anything type of series would work.

i know it seems incredible but he does appear to be off the drugs – for the present – he’s definitely functioning anyway. I can’t think of anyone who has mounted and rode media and social media like this before. I mean, it’s sweaty bareback stuff this is.
I am a big fan. Monday is not the same with out him. I don’t watch TV right now because I have been bored with all the reality TV. It is not enabling to give some one a job either. He needs help not condemnation. Maybe Martin Sheen can get through to him.
Charlie will get meetings with almost everyone.
The smart money is to show interest in Charlie until he either becomes too toxic or until he rises from the ashes …and, can once again line the pockets of his employers.
It will always be about the MONEY, and no one knows what Charlie is currently worth at this time.
I’m telling you all, no one is going to walk away from easy $600M for the next three to four years from 2 1/2 Men. Period. This will be the first $2B show, and for a while. No one is that ego-”testicle” to do it.

I am sorry to disappoint everyone who is pre-selling tickets to this ‘Return of the Living Dead’ or Alfred Hitchcock’s, ‘Rear Window’ but after the first episode, with possibly a higher than usual ‘turnout’ to watch the Prodigal Son sauntering across the boards with slouched shoulders and a feeble grin, every episode after will seem like an anti-climax compared to the behind the scenes antics. People will tune off in their droves – the superficial high gone. The realisation that the formulaic, predictable scenarios and dialogue just isn’t doing it any more.
You never go back and you can never look back, you can only go forward but hopefully, in an entirely new direction.
So, FOX starts flirting and CBS starts having regrets … some things never change. It’s high school all over again.

And when Missy CBS broke up with Charlie, because her parents (Lawyers/Lorre) forced her too, Nancy FOX stepped in and has begun flirting with him. Now Missy wants Charlie back after seeing Nancy eyeing him, because that’s how it works. Charlie knows how to play women, why not studios too?
TMZ also reports: “Sheen entered, dressed as Luke Skywalker, loudly demanding a meeting with Obi Wan, Admiral Piett and Yoda.”
How many acts are selling out two nights at radio city?? Selling out huge thwarted in 18 min? Let the big dog eat!!
My client will soon be back on Two and a Half Men where he belongs. Les Moonves is desperate to have it back on the air and he’s too afraid to approve a new actor. Chaim Levine will be executive producer in name only he won’t have any input at all and a new showrunner will be announced. Look for Charlie to appear at the up fronts two months from now with Moonves sitting next to him. The only thing to work out is Charlie’s new deal.

I’m starting to smell something suspicious. If Charlie returns to 2 1/2 Men then I honestly think we’ve all just been punked.
In an age of shorter attention spans and consumers being able to fast forward thru commercials there is a need for a new form of marketing.
Traditional advertising just doesn’t work anymore. So now what appears to be real life drama is just a new way to grab people’s attention.
The ratings for the show were probably starting to slip a little and CBS freaked out. They all probably sat in a room and told Charile to go wild (not for real, but just give the appearance) and they would play along.
So the drama folds out before us but meanwhile everyone is in on the gag. Interest in the show rises again as the vast majority of the public wonder if Charlie will return.
Which he will … because that’s been the plan the whole time.

If not for the gaunt/crackhead look, rotten teeth sallow skin I’d say you’re on to something. If they were, I want to know who did his make up, because it really was f–ing great.
And BTW, I wouldn’t put it past someone to try it in the future. But in this case I think Carlito and Les weren’t thinking on that deep a level.
If that’s true they did a really good job; Joaquin Phoenix should take lessons from Sheen!

So how about we find out Charlie’s unsuccessful relationships with women is because of lack of his mothers , Evelyn , involvement . He realizes he needs her love , and she sees the problem . They enter into a close personal relationship . Meanwhile , Alan sees Roses loneliness and needs her companionship , they marry and live happily ever-after . Jake becomes a television agent , who struggles with addiction (Berta has to care for him) , but continues to idolise his Uncle Charlie !
