While he usually plays likable characters in The Office and films like Hot Tub Time Machine, Craig Robinson will take a turn to the dark side. He will play the Anti-Christ in Rapturepalooza, a comedy that is fast coming together for a spring start at Lionsgate. Robinson will also be exec producer on the film. The comedy takes place a year after a religious apocalypse strips away half the world’s population. Ben and Lindsey try to reestablishing their sandwich cart business. Beyond the occasional blood rainstorm and talking locusts that surface occasionally, the sandwich sellers have a new problem: the Anti-Christ (Robinson) decides he wants to take Lindsey as his bride. Deadline will furnish more specifics about the film in a bit. UTA and 3 Arts reps Robinson.

two questions- WHAT are you guys at Lionsgate smoking, and Can I buy some?
Str8 to DVD.
Why bother with DVD’s with all the VOD options out there?
Sounds like the Rapture episode of AMERICAN DAD.
Sounds more original than most of the dreck that makes it into the multiplexes.
Not that I have an issue with the content, but when will Hollywood learn that movies which satirize faith almost always fail?
whatever happened to jerry minor
The apocalypse did just happen: Steve Carrell left The Office!
Man the lifeboats!
Craig’s hustling for bucks, which is more than I can say for all of you stay-at-home critics.
Lionsgate’s rolling the dice with Craig, thinking he might be the next Wayans and shit out “Scary Movie” type stuff, a niche comedy franchise with sequels pumped out like TV show seasons.
Look, if Craig’s show The Office can go 7! seasons (it stopped being funny in Season 4), why not give “Rapturepalooza” a go?
Lionsgate deserves credit for giving Craig a chance.
What a tool you are. Drop “stay at home critics” as a perjorative and then whine that the Office stopped being funny four years ago.
Show your Emmy or STFU. You are entitled to NO OPINION WITHOUT AN EMMY.
In conclusion: A tool is you.
Tool.
Creed sucks! And not the Offices Creed, a working actor who contributed much more to society in one day than fake Creed on this blog! Maybe Obama can give YOU a chance-stick your hand out for one of his hand-outs!
Another Hollywood film making fun of Christians. The movie makers try to claim they have no “agenda”, it’s all about the “box office”, yet continue these types of movies which will only appeal to their same-minded buddies and co-workers.
