It wasn’t on DreamWorks Animation’s updated release slate that came out earlier this month (that ends with How To Train Your Dragon 2 in June 2014), but Megamind writers Brent Simons and Alan J. Schoolcraft have been tapped to develop a movie starring the penguins from the studio’s Madagascar franchise. The flightless foursome already have a hit cartoon series on Nickelodeon, The Penguins of Madagascar, so consider a built-in audience secure.

They were the best things about that horrible Madagascar movie.
I think they should do a ” love story ” between two penguines. They’re known to be the only species on the planet that is ” monogamous”, once they pair up, it is for life:)! They’re adorable, and a love story between these two cute creatures would be a hit and unique! I love penguines!
The Nickelodeon show just proves that the penguins (and maybe the lemurs) are funnier and more interesting in small doses.
Bullwinkle and Rocky and all the other Jay Ward shows were basically kid shows, but written for adults. The Penguins are much the same. If you look and listen you will find it. To illustrate, the frequent reference by Skipper to the unfortunate “Manfredie and Johnson” who were actually characters in the movie Stalag 17 killed in the opening scene. And there are others. Evade and confuse.
Loves Penguins!
