The Toronto pickup, a noirish thriller starring Mickey Rourke, Bill Murray and Megan Fox and written and directed by Mitch Glazer, begins its platform rollout in New York and Los Angeles. That’s a little less than two months before the rollout of Transformers: Dark of the Moon, which Fox fell out of, a move that essentially reduced her opening-weekend screen count from 8000 to 2.

I thought it’s going straight-to-DVD.
For Megan Fox that is still two theaters… too many!
Damn! I wanted to post that.
Well done!
Hey jackie d,
Great minds think alike….enjoy the weekend.
and as bad as it is it will still be better than T3…barely
5 words: Contractually obligated for theatrical release.
yep you nailed it.
“platform rollout” hee hee…
Megan Fox and Mickey Rourke in one sentence (and one film), sure. But O, Hollywood, why drag our Murray into the mix?
Has she ever really even tried to act? At least we got to watch Brian Austin Green perfect his craft with a weekly dose of David Silver in the 90′s on 90210.
pretty bird, pretty bird…
Hey Tom, Megan just wrapped the new Jon Hamm film and snagged the LEAD in Judd Aptow’s new movie add that to her Armani contract and you’ll be seeing a lot of her… ha ha ha.
She’s only 24 but happily married and successful. What do you do for a living? Besides make fun of pretty girls?
what movie is the lead? I honestly like this woman, I just think the movie choices arnt good. She has talent, and it will be showcased. She doesnt make a film flop, she makes people want to see a film. Blame the directors, producers and screenwriters for their awful contribution in movie making.
megan did the best she could with the self-indulgent material and arrogant 1st-and-(hopefully)only-time director.
this is another stinky internal package from has-been icm. at least they made some money as the packager and sales agent… god knows everyone who put $$ and time into that “movie” had a good cry over it by now.
eddie nailed it with his 5-word assessment.
