• Did they cut they budget, because production values don’t look comparable to the previous films. Then again I can only judge by this trailer. Might see it for Ian McShane, though.

• PASS….Depp use to pick such good movies to star in. Lately, hes been choosing crappy roles in films like Alice in Wonderland and Pirates 4. If depp really loved playing this character than he should have given his best performance as Sparrow in the 3rd film and go out with a bang instead of making more of them.

• Looks ok, but somehow a little off. Could it be that because Jack was always the comic relief, making him the main character makes this feel a little desperate?

• It looks like more of the same, and I lost interest long before Pirates 3 was even released.

  The kids will probably make this a big box office hit…but, this franchise is really boring for me including Johnny Depp. We all know he did it for the mega millions he will earn, but Johnny…enough is enough! We love what you do, but even Jack Sparrow should have died and gone to Pirate heaven/hell long, long ago.

  On the other hand, after last year, Jerry Bruckheimer and Disney are desperate to have another blockbuster to recoup some of the “Mars Needs Moms” Zemeckis failure of titanic proportion.

  Pirates 4 is solely about the money!
