Leslie Bibb has been tapped for the lead in ABC’s dramedy pilot Good Christian Bitches, from ABC Studios, Kapital Entertainment, writer-exec producer Robert Harling and exec producer Darren Star. Based on Kim Gatlin’s book, it centers on Amanda (Bibb), a recently divorced mother of two who moves back to the affluent neighborhood where she grew up to find herself in the whirling midst of gossip, Botox and fraud. Crossing Jordan alumna Bibb, repped by ICM and manager John Carrabino, co-starred in the two Iron Man movies. She will next be seen in the feature comedy Zookeeper. Bibb joins previously cast Jennifer Aspen and Annie Potts.

Love Jennifer Ehle! She is so talented!
The very beautiful and talented Jennifer Ehle!! We’ll all be watching!
Bibb is a GODDESS!
Aces! Love Ehle.
There’s not a chance in hell that title will be on the show when it runs.
The Xtian right will start protesting as soon as they read this & we know Drudge will link to it!
ICM is cleaning up.
Bibb is a legend in her own mind.
They could call Jennifer’s show THE GHOST AND DR. MUIR.
I have liked Bibb ever since my HS days when she was on “Popular” aka Ryan Murphy’s better teen show that “Glee” is a loose musical remake of.
She’s cool, but last I saw her she was on Nip/Tuck on a guest spot. Will she be able to carry this show?
Yes I remember Popular too. Glee is a remake of that show. Remember the coach (female actress) was always called Mr. Coach Beast’s precendent. Glee is Popular 2.0
Nip and Tuck portrayed the same thing, life on the beautiful side was not what most thought it would be. Leslie Bibb will be able to carry it very well.
Jennifer Ehle herself mentioned calling the show The Dead Wife on her twitter. Hope they pick it up. They are stupid if they don’t.
Pretty much substitute the word “Christian” in that title for any other religion and you’d have the ADL crying foul and all of Hollywood comparing you to Mel Gibson.
AHHHH! Jennifer on my tv screen every week! I’m in heaven!
Ehle! Wonderful…
both shows sound like disasters.
Christina Applegate turned down the lead role in this – that means it’s not good.
Diane Delano was the actress I was trying to remember on the show Popular. Always referred to as Sir on the show. Great Character Actress,
I’m happy for Jennifer Ehle. I thought her bit part in King’s Speech was kind of humiliating – or at least rather damning re the likely career paths of male and female actors – there was Colin – great chap, super talented, first big break Pride and Prej back in 95 with Jennifer – getting his Oscar, and there was Jennifer, playing the older guys wife with practically no real part to play in the proceedings. I wonder what that was like on set for the two of them.
Yeah, I know. I thought the same thing. But I think she took a lot of time off to have a family and focused on stage work for a number of years before that. She’s still very beautiful. So glad to see she’s trying to get back in the mix.
What I find most disturbing is that people dont see how the title is disgusting and offensive on so many levels, let name the show Burqa Bitches, Muslim Bitches will that then get your attention. this is a direct insult to my grandma
This is super offending to me.
Your grammar is offending me.
