Mary Lee has left Mandate Pictures to join Management 360 as a literary manager. At Mandate, she was director of development and worked as an exec on Juno. She’s a coproducer on another Diablo Cody scripted project, Young Adult, which Jason Reitman will direct and was co-producer of the Jennifer Aniston/Jason Bateman-starrer Switch and the Anne Hathaway/Patrick Wilson-starrer Passengers. She’s also co-producing the Thomas Carter-directed dance movie Dream On.
“We had a great experience working with Mary as an executive at Mandate and are certain that her impeccable taste and ability to deftly manage movies will translate to being a great manager and producer at 360,” said the Management 360 partners in a statement. Lee started in the motion picture department at CAA and joined Mandate in August 2005 as executive assistant.

Congrats to Mary, she’s a pleasure

Good move by M360. Mary’s an excellent executive and I’m sure she’ll be an even better manager!
Mary Lee is one of the most respectable, hard working executives out there. She will do amazing things I’m sure.
Great grab by M360. Mary’s a talented executive and I’m sure she’ll be an even better manager!
Very smart move by 360. This is one exec who never fails to maintain excellent relationships on all ends. She’ll make a great manager. Congrats Mary!
…the only exec from mandate…
Was never very impressed with her creative or business acumen – sort of just part of that egotistical corporate structure at Mandate where you try and make a movie WITH them but then end up having to make it for them
Henry, you’re a douche.
This is amazing for Mary Lee and M360. As she did at Mandate, I’m sure Mary will continue to crush it for the partners at 360. I wonder if Mandate, Nathan and that entire group realizes what a massive rock star they lost in this process? If they don’t, they’ll realize it soon…
I’ve known Mary for a very long time now and this couldn’t happen to a more wonderful person. She’s extremely intelligent and has a keen eye for what makes story tick. I have no doubts she will thrive over at 360.
