TV casting director Vicki Rosenberg Suchin passed away in her sleep of natural causes on Tuesday, March 8 in her Tarzana home. She was 59. Suchin was a casting director who, over 25 years, cast hundreds of pilots, series and telepics with a list that includes Taxi, Who’s the Boss, Married…With Children and Judging Amy. She began her casting career working with Linda Otto and Joan Barnett in 1976 before moving on to NBC Network Casting. She then worked for Paramount Television Casting and ultimately landed at Columbia TriStar Television as EVP of Casting. She was the wife of personal manager Milt Suchin, who survives her along with her son Zachary Suchin, an Internet entrepreneur. She leaves behind two brothers, Imagine Entertainment president Michael Rosenberg and Robert Rosenberg. The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations to be made to Pug Nation Rescue of Los Angeles.

Mike-
Thanks for writing this.
Vicki was such a great woman and treated me so well when I first moved to LA back in 1991… We continued a very nice professional and personal relationship over the years… and had some nice email banter a month or so ago.
She will be missed by so many.
I, too, adored Vicki. Really a class act.
59 is too early to leave us.
Rest In Peace- you brought me much success and I hope your spot above is what you deserve…take care Vicki- so long pal
59 is too early… Truly our loss.
Vicki was a wonderful woman and died too young. She will be missed by her friends and family. I feel lucky to have known her.
I had the pleasure of ‘growing up’ with Vicki as she entered the casting business with Linda and Joan. She was a true professional and a genuinely good person. It is our shared loss that she is no longer with us.
In these times, what causes are natural when someone is only 59? So sad.
I was lucky enough to have met Vicki when I was a freshman at Northeastern University. She was a beautiful coed with an outstanding sense of humor. Her ability to see and bring out the best in people separated her then and clearly served her as she grew as a person and professionally. I have every confidence Vicki lived her life to the fullest.
My dearest aunt vicki was the best aunt that anyone can have. I am going to miss her so dearly. Everytime i go out to California i always look forward to seeing her. She always made me laugh and just was the best roll model to me. I realy looked up to her. Vicki, i want to thankyou for everything you have done. I love you and will never ever forget you. Thanks for the memories and laughs. RIP LOVE Billie
