The Chicago soundstage that has housed Oprah Winfrey’s syndicated talk show for years won’t go vacant after Winfrey tapes her last show, slated to air May 25. Rosie O’Donnell, who will host a daily talk show for Winfrey’s new cable network OWN will move into the Harpo Studios facility. O’Donnell broke the news to Harpo staffers today in a video. “It’s me, Rosie O’Donnell, star of The Flintstones!,” she quipped. “I just wanted to say: Hi, I’m coming to Chicago. Yes, I am, and I’m thrilled about it… Thank you, Oprah. And thank all you people there. Some of you are going to be sticking around and helping us make a kick-ass show for the Oprah Winfrey Network.”

This is great news for Chicago production. Hopefully Rosie will knock this show out of the park and stay for a long time.
… It won’t be around for a long time. Remember the dismal ratings for that ROSIE special? No one likes her anymore.
That Rosie special was probably the worst show ever.
It was so bad, NBC refused to put it on Hulu so those who missed it couldn’t see how rotten it was.
Who are you again? Rosie is a national treasure! Millions of love and support her. Brilliant and with more heart than anyone else I know. I CANT WAIT FOR HER NEW SHOW! I will miss the hell out of her on radio! She created a community…cant say that about too many tv or radio gigs.
THANKS ROSIE! WE LOVE YOU!
Oh, Christ—
The Fun Just Never Ends.
Or goes away.
Why do they keep giving O’Donnell shows? She’s unappealing in every way. Go away, Rosie.
Sounds like it will be craptacular.
Yuck!!!!
so funny that she mentioned “flintstones.” “stakeout” was way funnier.
it would be excruciating to endure her for an hour on her own show. again. but i would love to see her back on “the view.” they need a true instigator. i love it when they argue pointlessly. watching that show is like watching a hockey match: i don’t get my money’s worth till they start fighting.
Congratulations Rosie and the Harpo team. I know your show is going to be great!
Rosie is wonderful – funny, intelligent, and a voice for the people. She is a great interviewer and a real human being. I am so looking forward to this show.
Go Rosie!
Don’t like Rosie. Don’t want to see her show. Oprah, remember how you felt when Beloved failed? You are about to relive that feeling. Sorry, I love you Oprah, but not more than I dislike Rosie.
Give Rosie a chance she is medictaed now, she is better. Bipolar is not a laughing matter it is serious. She is a good comic and she means well.I would be on her show if I could and my friends in Chicago will be trying to get tickets.
