Syfy Renews ‘Face Off’ For Second Season

• This has been a fun show so far so I’m glad to see a second season is coming.

  But now that it’ll have a second season, bring on the Executive meddling and stunt casting. I’m dreading them adding even more people just to ramp up the Drah-ma! instead of focusing on the creation process and the final results.

• And yet “Caprica” was cancelled.

  I know: numbers. It’s a shame they didn’t turn out for what ended up being a truly intriguing drama.

• Another surprise move toward reality TV. I thought the whole rebrand to “SyFy” was supposed to emphasize their focus on real dramas. I guess that’s all done now. Maybe it’s really SomeFi instead of SyFy?
