UPDATED: The Insider today named Kevin Frazier co-host along Lara Spencer, the first time an African American presenter has co-hosted a syndicated entertainment newsmagazine Monday-Friday in 3 decades, since Ahmad Rashad anchored Entertainment Tonight. (Shaun Robinson co-hosts the weekend edition of Access Hollywood.) Frazier will succeed Chris Jacobs who moves to Insider‘s sister program Entertainment Tonight as correspondent.

All those correspondents/hosts are interchangable – not one real personality among them.
Combine them all together, and you still couldn’t come up with a single personality.

I think Arthel Neville will beg to differ with the claim that Kevin is the first African American presenter to co-host a syndicated entertainment news magazine, as she was the co-host of “Extra” when it launched 20 years ago.
Kevin has come along way. I remember when he was on FOX Sports nightly broadcast, then he jumped to ESPN to lead their NBA coverage as a host and now he’s found his place in the entertainment reporting. Good for him.
Is chris jacobs move considered a demotion?
No. on the contrary. Getting ET is a prize, promotion, top dog move. The Insider is an out of town tryout.

Kevin Frazier is now M-F main co-host on Insider -was weekend anchor/ repoert at ET for a few years. Great opportunity to be the main host of a major entertainment show. Will add flavor, personality and a younger+ hipper demo to show. Shout out to KF- congrats!
Wasn’t Arthel Neville the female co-anchor of Extra when it premiered in the mid 90s? If so, I’m pretty sure it hasn’t been 3 decades since an African-American has been one of the hosts of a syndicated entertainment show.
He’s terrible…but then again so is Billy Bush and Mario Lopez so I guess he fits the bill.
JJ- sounds like u r just a “hater” in general of entertainment shows. Proof will be in the viewership- let’s talk in a year and see how the shopw improves- unless u think you can sit in for any of the guys u mentioned and do a better job.
Frazier will be a better fit with Spencer than Chris Jacobs. ET is awful–it’s like a botoxed version of entertainment tv. Jacobs is perfect for that gig…he yells at the camera–over enunciating every syllable. He fits the ET profile.
Congrats to Kevin Frazier. The dude’s got talent, solid on-screen presence and is an all-around nice guy.

Chris Jacobs is being groomed to replace Mark Steines opposite Nancy O’Dell. Glad to hear Kevin, a minority, finally broke through the litany of Caucasian anchors. He’ll last only as long as the ratings hold up.
My sympathies are extended to Mr Frazier for having to spend anytime with Lara Spencer. Lara Spencer is one of the most difficult, aggressive and foul tempered individual I have ever worked with.
It’s all so sad. That Chris Jacobs is so irritating you want to cough up your food. They should be ashamed of themselves for making a living in such a disgusting way — they are spewing fear in the minds of those that don’t understand they’re watching trash.
We watch it here in Australia (both ET and Insider)ET-cant understand Nancy O Dells face-is she on botox or something-it looks really puffed,artificial. Kevin Frazier going on insider is yes, going down in the world,not up. Kevin is a nice guy anyway good luck to him.What about that guiliana chick on Enews. she is not supposed to be on tv and yet has her own reality show as well.
