United Talent Agency has signed Nick Frost, the British multi-hyphenate who co-stars in and co-wrote Paul, the Universal sci-fi comedy that opened today. He joins co-writer Simon Pegg, who is already in the UTA fold. Frost, who had been repped by CAA, co-starred in Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz, and is also known for the UK series Spaced and Man Stroke Woman. Frost also starred in the Joe Cornish-directed Attack the Block, seen at South By Southwest, and Paramount’s upcoming Steven Spielberg-directed The Adventures of Tintin: The Secret of the Unicorn. Frost will continue to be managed by the Safran Company and UK-based Hamilton Hodell.

its all about looks
I hope this one doesn’t turn out to be just another pretty face.
And – there’s a movie called “Paul” that opens today? Never heard of it.
“And – there’s a movie called “Paul” that opens today? Never heard of it.”
Yeah, you’re really showing that you’re in the biz.
UTA on a roll.
Chunky Paul McCartney give back Buddy Holly’s glasses.
uh, first order of business new head shot??
I’m not one to judge looks but – this guy is hideous!!
Nick is charming and likable as hell. Won’t go so far as to put him in John Candy territory, but he could work in that arena for sure. I hope UTA can find something for him to do.
Kwitchyabellyakchin. “Spaced” was one of the great series of the last twenty years and Frost should collect at least as much credit and derive as much future from it as Simon Pegg.
god he is HOT
Have all you idiots commenting on his looks not seen SHAUN OF THE DEAD. Nick Frost is hilarious!!!! Who cares what he looks like. Oh wait, my bad, we’re not in England anymore Toto. I guess in Hollyweird, looks are all that matter; talent won’t get you too far.
You guys are shallow hollywood types.
Troll!!!
Keep it rolling…
Check out “Shaun Of The Dead” if you haven’t seen it already because Nick Frost was damn funny
In real life, Nick Frost was a working class, no ambition type of guy who was working as a waiter, who befriended a down-on-his-luck Simon Pegg and let Pegg sleep on his couch for 3 months or so. They became fast friends, and when Pegg’s star started to rise, he took Nick Frost along with him. Frost did not disappoint as he just has a natural flair for being funny.
Talk about somebody falling into a tub of butter — it’s this guy. Can’t get any luckier unless you win the lottery.
Funny how the idiots above haven’t heard of him yet feel strongly enough to comment…
