• I’m Canadian, a guy, and straight… but I watch this show online and Joan is hilarious. I’m glad that it was renewed. She’s a legend and is always on.

• I found this show really funny. Joan is so cool, Cooper is beautiful and surprisingly for me: MELISSA IS GREAT!!!

• I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE JOAN RIVERS, she is the best!!!! Damn, I wish I got WE TV!! I loved JOAN RIVERS’ movie & she is waaaaay too funny on E TV re: reviewing clothing that the “stars” wear!! Melissa is pretty, I hope she doesn’t go in 4 more plastic surgery!!

• I LOVE JOAN RIVERS and am so happy she has a hit show! After the numbers she’s brought that sleepy little WEtv, they better be putting together a bigger development deal with Joan. They’ve struck gold putting her back on the air.

  The show IS a bit too put-on. I’m a 32 yr old guy tuning in; I can spot a fake and I wish it wasn’t so contrived and dumbed down. I hope the producers can step back a bit… but then again, it IS WEtv. Joan– you have those housewifey prissy producers by the balls. You’re so much edgier and cooler than what you’re confined to now. Let’s see it be the clever and sharp vehicle for Joan that it should be.

• Joan Rivers is frequently hilarious in the show.

  As others have said, the set-ups are blatant, clumsy and hurt the show. Melissa is agreeable, but I’m not interested in her. I’m watching for Joan’s humor, which is omnipresent and merciless. (They were wise to keep the babe-alicious nanny out of the picture, she was a serious distraction.)

  Pure gold is the rare moment when things get genuine and Joan cries.

  I find myself fast-forwarding through the show in search of Joan’s humor and genuine emotion. The best bits are the ones which approximate the terrific documentary film on Rivers.

  I’m glad it got renewed because I like good things happening to Joan.

• I am a 46 year old straight married adult and this is the only show I watch on TV which isn’t on the History Channel. Joan is hilarious, and Melissa and son are adorable. IMO, despite the ‘set-ups’ mentioned above, this is the best ‘reality’ show on TV. Joan is a true legend, and what a treat to watch how she and her family interact.

  One thing is for certain, Joan is a great mother, and her mothering skills have been passed down to Melissa, who is clearly doing a phenomenal job herself.

  Look forward to next season, and many more to come after that.

• I’m a fan of Joan. If you think about it, she’s been around a long time!Most love her or hate hate her, but you must give credit for a being a survivor and…a great entrepreneur! If something doesn’t work, she tries something else. I’ve seen her down, but she gets back up. How many people do that? Yah, she’s over the top, but that’s Joan.I’m glad she has a hit. God bless.

• I have been a huge fan of Joan’s brilliant wit since she was a frequent substitute host for Johnny Carson.

  However, Melissa needs to grow a spine and insist that her mother respect her boudaries.

  Tossing out your daughter’s living room furniture (and replacing it with pieces you like better) . . . plus taking naked taking pictures of your daughter in the shower is NOT acceptable, Joan!!!

• I love Joan so much I used to watch the Shopping Channels just to see her!

  I’m so glad she has her own show and I’m looking foward to the new season. Wish we didn’t have to wait so long.

  I also watch the Fashion Police because she always makes sure to serve jokes with her reviews.

  I don’t really care about the Fashion scene, but I get upset when the show is on hiatus because that means no Joan.

  The only thing I don’t like is when her jokes get too explicit about sex. Melissa is right to bleep her.

  Keep it tasteful Joan and you’ll appeal to more of the public.

  I just want to say, I’m not gay but I do love Joan!
