• CAA was probably trying to get him to do TV to no avail. Really, BBT should direct a pilot and take the 3% or whatever backend he can get from it. And then produce another series where he can be a recur (like Macy on Shameless) so he’s still avail to do movies. Oh wait, is that the WME playbook I found on the floor? No, it says we can make “four-quadrant artistic films loved worldwide with 10% gross bottomlines” for BBT. And pie-charts! Neat!

  • Really? After several bombs: INFORMERS, MR. WOODCOCK, SCHOOL FOR SCOUNDRELS, ASTRONAUT FARMER, THE ICE HARVEST, BAD NEWS BEARS. The Polish brothers movie was never even released.

    If they can get millions out of him on studio pics, more power to them. If I was a studio, I wouldn’t touch him for more than a couple hundred grand. BAD SANTA 2 the exception to the rule, but I’m sure CAA already closed that.

    Don’t get me wrong, I love BBT, he’s a fun actor, and a good actor. But he needs to stick to his artistic talent more and stop doing the stupid high school movies.

    I’m confused, is MR. WOODCOCK and SCHOOL FOR SCOUNDRELS the same movie, or sequel or remake?

• That’s funny. He used to be in great movies when he was repped at WMA a while back. Good for WME. They will do a great job for him. Did he get rid of anyone else. He should!
