Is this a step up from Beth Klein? Survey says… Eh!
Amy is the BEST BEST BEST…good for her.
Amy is awesome. Showtime scored.
Amy Britt is and has been one of the best casting directors out there. Showtime just got a lot stronger. Good call Nevins!!!
AMY IS THE BEST!
Love Amy Britt always a pleasure to work with and has a great eye. Same for Anya. Showtime needed to freshen it up. This is a good move!
I’ve been working (and therefore auditioning – a lot!) in Hollywood for 9 years. Auditioning sucks. Amy Britt and Anya Collof are two of the most thoughtful, kind, discerning, creative and inspired casting directors in town. You never leave their offices feeling like a piece of crap – they care about everyone and want to bring out the best in people. See guys? It works! Some of the other more unpleasant and mean CDs should take note. Good things DO happen to good people. Hurrah for Amy.
Amy Britt is an amazing person and brilliant at her job. Lucky Showtime! Anya Colloff is equally as awesome. They will both flourish.
Awesome! LOVE Amy…she’s so great at her job and personable too. Smart decision to freshen it up a bit. I hope Anya gets some great projects out of it…she’s wonderful too…
A waste of a job. CD’s today take messages and follow orders. Get 10 offer actors. There is no such thing as casting anymore. It’s a job that needs to go to a robot.
Thank you.
you have absolutely no idea what you are talking about. yes, networks have red tape & their own BS, but CDs work their asses off for many hours a day, and Showtime is a great, creative place to jump in and create worlds. Especially worlds that actually allow women to have decent roles AND leading roles.
Amy Britt is one of the best around and this is such a smart move from showtime, she is going to do wonders over there. Anya all kinds of rad too – superstars!!!!
I am a Robot and find this offensive.
Now that’s funny!
Amy deserves her new appointment. She’s worked hard, built her agency and commands respect. Way to go, Amy! Congrats to you and Anya.
