• Universal can throw all the marketing money at this 200 million dollar monster they want but it’s going to come down to, is the movie good enough to overcome the title? Iron Man suggests says it will be, Iron Man 2 says maybe not.

• Good move by Universal since alot of people still watch American Idol. All the trailers they have shown so far have only been from the first half of the movie, so Favreau still has alot of secrets hes hiding. I think this trailer will be a good indication as to what this film is going to be and who’s interested in it. I personally think its going to be an awesome movie and probably the only fun movie of the summer.

• Unfortunately the early footage gave the false impression that this was a comedy, in the vein of The Wild, Wild West. Favreau has an up hill battle to over come, to give an overall impression of the feel of the film. For this to work, you must buy-in to the characters and the atmosphere of an old west drama. Hopefully, this trailer will demonstrate that. I’m rooting for this film.

• I don’t see how any movie that bought commercial time during the Super Bowl can be considered “under the radar.” The Super Bowl is still the most watched show in the US each year, right?
