This thing is going to TANK b/c it looks like the Wild Wild West 2 and there are just certain genres you don’t mix. I’ve been telling people this since its initial production announcement.
Batman in Space = Bad Idea
Predators vs Cavemen = Bad Idea
Cowboys & Aliens = BAD IDEA

I actually like Olivia Wilde in this. She looks better than in Tron but the movie is horrible.
I thought she looked questionable, too. Bland and too obviously the “young pretty” character. I see they’ve given her character a reason to be naked. What a surprise.
Before now, I was convinced that this would be a cheesy exercise in explosions and bad summer movie-making, but I’m in!

The first trailer looked intriguing. This one reveals more of the ridiculousness promised by the title. I have the sinking feeling that the more one knows about this film, the sillier it’s going to seem.

Well, it’s a graphic novel so it’s guaranteed to be a huge success. I hope writers aren’t trying to write their cute little “original” specs anymore.
Where do you think writers go with their original ideas these days? You can either write a film script which will sit in a drawer in some studio for years, or publish a comic that has far more of a chance of being optioned for a movie anyway.
Didn’t it exist as a comic book proposal that Platinum sold post-”Men In Black” that didn’t really become an actual comic book until about the last couple of years? And even then, it was an extraordinarily low-print run, virtually convention-only one-shot that, ultimately, has nothing to do with the movie whatsoever?
That said, the movie looks like it must’ve had the greatest production design and set of storyboards ever-ever-ever. Not sure the movie’ll work, though.
This looks awesome. Daniel Craig is a movie star! He just oozes awesomeness in this trailer. Especially that last part when he holsters the gun.

Love westerns, love sci-fi so this is one of the few films I’ll actually see at the theatre. Craig kind of reminds me of Steve McQueen (in looks, anyway; no actor ever be that cool again).
Olivia Wilde is amazing. Really promising actress.
I am an avowed non-hater. As a matter of fact, I hate haters. But that looks absolutely horrible. Everything–the premise, the tres fromage one-liners, the lighting, the music, the acting, Indy frowning in every frame, the b-list Megan Fox, even the production design. What a bomb.

When will Dreamworks decide to release a Fright Night trailer? It comes out 3 weeks later than Cowboys and Aliens…yet C&A is already getting its’ second trailer with none out for the other movie yet?
