Dates Unveiled For 84th Academy Awards

• Good News…the awards season is not stretched until late March…it is already too long and distracting.

  Bad News…this timing has consistently put extraordinary pressure (by design of AMPAS) on all the other awards shows…which make the first two months of the year quite stressful on all doing shows which rely heavily on the revenue generated to fund their organizations.

  And, from a personal point of view doing back to back shows on consecutive nights isn’t that much fun…and, you best not get your outfits dirty and require cleaning…or, you need to have two sets of black tie clothing.

  I hope the Academy does not back up the dates to early February as this would even more seriously impact all the other events.

• Since the Academy wants rising young actors and actresses to host the Oscars instead of comedians, we should probably expect two of the below names to host next year’s Oscars:
