It’s April’s Fools day, and the TV networks are having fun too. Animal Planet announced it has signed a deal with Twitter star @BronxZoosCobra for a two-hour documentary, @BronxZoosCobra: SNAKE ON THE TOWN. “We’re looking for raw, untapped talent,” said Marjorie Kaplan, president of Animal Planet and Science Networks. “We have a triple threat on our hands. @BronxZoosCobra is relatable, audacious and venomous, and you don’t turn your back on a snake like that!”
And once again this year, ABC.com launched a special April’s Fools Day version of the site, showcasing ABC’s primetime series including Mr. Sunsheen, White Castle and Snookie Blue.

LOL @ Black Swan boy! His face is priceless!
Happy April Fool’s Day! Right???
Mr Sunsheen
The only truly funny one is Black Swan. Either way it’s nice to see a network show that they have a sense of humor.
What are the legalities/copyright allowances to do such a thing, just out of sheer (or Sheen!) curiosity?! Is ABC allowed to use Sheen’s image/name, or do they need some kind of permission? How about the Jersey Shore-isms? Snooki’s name? And even though they own Castle/Middle, are they legally allowed to use images of the actors in different forms other than their original intended purpose? And lastly, is there any kind of precedent, statute, etc. that states on April Fool’s Day you are allowed to do this kind of stuff without any legal ramifications?
Parody and satire are legal.
whats it to you? It’s a joke, lighten up! take a chill pill… or maybe charlie sheen can “Will” you chill.
Read the post, idiot. He doesn’t need to “chill” or “lighten up.” He’s not upset. He’s just curious. Notice how he signed his name?
PAINFULLY unfunny.
gross
Having the entire cast of Better with You have Bieber photoshopped on their faces got me. Thanks, ABC.
I would totally watch a show about the Bronx Zoo Cobra for real – that Twitter account was freaking hilarious!
And yes, satire is allowable under the First Amendment.
I LOVE the Black Swan one!!!!
can anybody f****ING READ? IT SAYS BRICK SWAN
It’s still a Black Swan parody.
Damn lost a bet on when Charlie would get picked up with a show. I listened to the original interview and knew the context in which it was presented and placed a bet with some friends, I expected last week so I lost the bet as another was closer to my bet. Congrats to Charlie, Winning. At the same time I was disgusted with the MSM spin put on initial events I heard with my own ears, call it the last straw, I pulled the plug on my cable service years ago, the only reason I have it now is that they offered it for free for 6 months and I’ll give the box back before that is over. Hopefully Charlie will bring back some credibility to network television. Shouldn’t be that difficult, for me as they are starting from rock bottom. With Charlie’s help they might actually be Winning
MSM is so out of touch with reality and I’m sick of the indoctrination it inflicts on us. Charlie will question the system. His 20 Questions with the President segment offered more legitimate questions on the 911 scam than any american mainstream media dared to ask.
