UNIVERSAL CITY, Calif. – April 20, 2011 – NBC will offer an extended 12-minute sneak peek of its new vocal competition series “The Voice” featuring its four musician coaches – Christina Aguilera, Cee Lo Green, Adam Levine and Blake Shelton as they join to perform Green’s hit song “Crazy” – on Thursday, April 21 at 11:35-11:47 p.m. (ET) leading into that night’s “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno.”
In addition, NBC will showcase a shorter two-minute version of the sneak preview as the four coaches unite to sing Green’s “Crazy” on Saturday, April 23 at 11:30 p.m. (ET) just before the regular broadcast of “Saturday Night Live.” “SNL” will air its complete broadcast from approximately 11:30 p.m. – 1:02 a.m. (ET) that night.
On April 23, “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno” also will be seen in its entirety from approximately 11:47 p.m.-12:47 a.m. (ET).

Doa
I’m so sick of the promos for this show that I’ll never, ever watch it!
Plus, Leno is a repeat that night.
From what I have seen, this is going to be one big crapfest. A perfect fit for SNL.
…because we need yet another one of these shows like we need a hole in our heads.
Can’t wait!! Love Xtina! I’ll finally have a reason to watch SNL.
Can it pre-empt Jay Leno forever? I’m so sick of this dinosaur.
Even if Jay Leno is a rerun, I don’t think an entertainment preview should push the start time of a late-night show back.
After all, most people who watch Jay Leno hit the sack when (or before) it ends.
For Jay to be pushed back by a late-running sports event that pushes back the late news (and thus, pushes-back late-night programming) or to air an “instant news special”, okay.
But this??
Maybe NBC should have “supersized” a couple of prime-time shows so this bit could have run in-between programs in prime-time.
Just when you Zucker’s departure meant NBC might learn to program a network . . .
