EXCLUSIVE: This is the news NCIS fans have been waiting for. After lengthy negotiations, NCIS co-star Cote de Pablo just closed a new two-year deal with series producer CBS TV Studios to continue on the flagship CBS drama. She was the last NCIS cast member without a deal, meaning that the entire cast of the show is now locked in for next fall.I hear de Pablo is getting a significant salary bump to about $120,000 per episode, which puts her on par with the show’s other female cast member, Pauley Perrette. She is also getting a sizable cash bonus.
Because de Pablo joined NCIS in Season 3, her contract expiration dates are on a different schedule than fellow NCIS co-stars Sean Murray, Michael Weatherly, Pauley Perrette and David McCallum, who all re-upped last year after talks dragged well into the summer. Star Mark Harmon signed a new two-year deal in February.
Behind-the camera, CBS Studios last week signed 3-year deals with NCIS executive producers Shane Brennan and Gary Glasberg, with Glasberg set to take over for Brennan as the day-to-day showrunner for next season.

Ziva or Cote de Pablo is the sexiest actress on tv. Her smile melts my soul. I am an old man but would give everything I have except my wife to meet her. Would like to have a 8×10 pic of her. Wonder if NCIS sends out pics of their stars. Any one who dislikes Ziva or Cote then just don’t watch the show. Noone is twisting your arm. You can’t be a man, maybe you are a fairy. A woman might be jealous of her. But how can you be jealous, just be glad that her father an mother had a beautiful baby.

While I am a fan of Ziva, by no means do I qualify her character as flawless. However, I make a clear distinction between the actor and character. I do not assume that traits of a character are identical to an actors. To be honest, I am disgusted by your lack of punctuation and your obvious lack of regard for independent women.
As you have blurred the lines between character and actor, I ask you to consider one more idea: in a time of economic crisis, shouldn’t one rejoice that a woman is able to pursue a career which she enjoys? Should someone lose their job because you hate a character? Save your complaints about her acting for posts related to character development and stop offering inarticulate commentary on issues on the success of an actress in securing her job for another two years.
Your spot on. Cote plays the script that she is given very well. Being an independent male I think it is great that women are making strides in the business world. I would have never complained if John Wayne had held out for more money. It’s just a TV show and enjoyable at that.

Wife and I were seriously upset tonoght (April 23) when Ziva and Tony’s car was struck broadside on Ziva’s dooe at the verfy moment (long awaited by their fans) when they were finally holding hands like people who care for each other. If Ziva and Tony are out of NCIS, we won’t watch the show again or buy more DVDs. Losing Kate from the show was bad enough.

Ziva’s character makes the show, and everyones character on the NCIS Team shines on each other and makes them all “W O N D E R F U L”, one of the BEST shows out there. My FAVORITE for SURE!! What no one has taken into consideration is that Ziva was trained in a country of war where she was forced to cary guns at a small age and had to become what she is to servive. they have to deal with their ability to servie they also have to deal with their every desion that they make. she also has to question what she was raised up to do at a young age!

NCISFAAN must be living behind a rock. Ziva’s character makes the show. I turn off re-runs that have the previous female in the show. The only thing I can think of that might explain the high level of negativity in the NCISFAAN post is that NCISFAAN is a female and a bit jealous.

The cast on NCIS is perfect now.. Ziva is so cool and adds so much to the team… They all compliment each other and I personally think the show is perfect and needs nothing but new adventures and many more years on TV. I stop what I am doing to watch it every week. I also watch re-runs everyday at some point and all weekend.
The show is still capturing. Very well written and cast. Would like to see McGee’s backround explored more this year. As well as follow ups to many episodes. Unless movie deals are to come. Which would be sweet! Would like to know how tired the actors and actresses are of playing their characters. Thanks for all episodes. Ziva adds to the story of the ncis episodes. Ncis is all about spies, double cross and intrueque. Her character & her Middle Eastern background/ the Mossad, for me, adds to the plots in the movies. That’s one reason I watch the episodes. Ziva and Tony’s interaction is more of a flirtation than disrespecting each other so much that one wonders if the two will entangle in a romantic relationship which of course will never happen as they are separated by culture. Ziva is too much of a warrior & Tony’s character is too much of a womanizer so the two twist and tangle. They’re all having fun & they’re fun to watch — nothing more, nothing less. Gibbs looks good in all of the episodes. Tim does appear like he’s lost some weight,look good. The episodes are not too bloody or violent which rates a 10 (1 being the worst).
So what, I disrespect a lot of people, and that does not make me a bad person. I think that Cote de Pablo is a really good atress and am very happy that she signed a new contract.

Ziva is a marvelous actress and makes the show even better than with Sasha Alexander, which was great. The one they could do without should be on the TOP OF THE 10 MOST ANNOYING list of actors is Tony. His character is annoying, repulsive, and crude. His absence would be an improvement.
I spent 25 years in the Air Force, and I can state, without hesitation, that Tony could work for me for about 5 minutes. He is one of the most annoying characters on TV. It’s obvious that he fears for his manhood whenever a female, like Ziva, calls him on some of the outlandish statements he makes. I realize this is TV and is make believe. I don’t watch many other series, mainly because of the annoying music in the background, that breaks out in song just at the time of the murder. How high school!

I love the character of Ziva and think Cote does her very well. She is exocitically beautiful and can be very funny. Her character grows and entertains. Yes, I love “Abby” as well and Gibbs is the sexiest ever. Mark just gets better and better. “Tim” looks as if he’s lost too much weight in an effort to lose his baby face, but his voice sounds as if he is ill. Is he? “Tony” is particularly annoying and the character continues to act like a 20 year old. Time for Tony to grow up. No wonder he is single. What intelligent woman would get involved with him. Seriously?! Doesn’t deserve it my ass. I love Pauley and I love Cote, and both deserve the pay they are getting. The NCIS cast works an average of 14 hour work days and Cote does almost all of her own stunts and fight scenes. The bump up in pay is more than deserved and actually overdue.
14 hour days are long but people work longer than that and get paid pittance. They only work for part of the year as well. If you think about it, there are 24 episodes per season on average so they earn almost $3 million a year plus a large bonus!!! Fuck me she doesn’t deserve that. Nobody deserves that amount of money. For every episode she shoots, she gets enough money to buy a small flat! Most people earn about a third of what she gets an episode in a whole year! She does not work hard enough for three fucking million dollars.
I love Ziva and I love Abby – If you don’t like what they get paid, then don’t watch TV. I am a working soccer mom (and maybe that means I don’t have a life but…) NCIS is one of my few escapes. If they get paid lots to do that – God Bless them!! It’s worth every penny I pay for cable.

For a TV show,this is one of the best WHO-DONNET shows in a very long time. The action between Ziva and Tony is what makes any who-donnet a good story. They almost kiss and make up but never quite do it and that leaves you in suspense,and that is what makes a good who-donnet.

The executives at NCIS obviously care about their fans, and know that many of us are anxious to see that the core cast remains the same. That consistency drew me to the show to begin with, and it will keep me watching. I can’t stand it when popular characters are forced off the show to shake things up. I don’t watch Criminal Minds, but I sympathize with those who were upset when a main character was forced out; I finally stopped forcing myself to watch House when Cameron was cast out in a totally ridiculous manner.

I find the attacks on Cote by some of interesting, especially r/t her talent, or the lack there of. Read her bios. She has won awards repeatedly for her work on live stage. Like her or not, she is a well respected actress on stage and on film. You don’t have to like the character, but give Cote a break.
As far as the pay they receive…We have children starving all over the globe, including the U.S. Nobody-CEO’s, athletes, actors, doctors, attorneys or anybody else should earn 7 digit incomes. We are a community. Nobody should be that wealthy while others go to bed hungry.
That’s welcome news. Can’t say that I watch the show as regularly as I once did, but I still enjoy it, I’m glad it continues to pull in great numbers, and I’m glad the cast will remain intact.
I think the introduction of Cote/Ziva after Sasha Alexander left was done well, and I think Ziva has been well integrated into the team, and certainly in ways that I wasn’t always able to say were predictable.
I guess the network didn’t want to f*ck with this show too much, despite the dragging out of some talks as a possible negotiation tactic with the others.
Wish other shows were handled with at least the appearance of such class.

It is good for her. I can only presume it’s also more of a rarity than commonplace, relative within the business. I dang well think people should be up in arms at what CEOs are making. Or hell, over what Sheen was making, no matter how it fit into the scale and profits of his show. At a certain point it becomes incredibly distasteful. Especially when the army of people below the line who make the shows are all but clawing to retain a decent living at all. The additional disparity between male/female compensation is all the worse, no matter what level it happens at. So yes, good for her.
I think de Pablo is certainly worth the parity with her female colleague, I can only shrug and say “so what” at the bonus too. I have no idea what that’s about.
Too bad Criminal Minds went about things the way they did. I hope Brewster’s show gets picked up, or that if she returns to CM that she’s treated better the second time around.
All actors are fucking overpaid and NOBODY deserves this much money. CEOs make shit loads but I don’t see how that is different to actors. They do just as much work you just don’t get to see it.
