Without a doubt one of the greats. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him and those who didn’t will wish they did! Love you JC
Gigi would know class and JC had it.
Very sad. His wife Rita is one of the nicest people working in Hollywood. My heart goes out to their family.
I’m gonna miss you big guy.
RIP John, i was fortunate to be able to work with him on The Grammy’s and work with the wonderful Rita for many many years on many shows. My heart goes out to the family!
John and Pierre were both class acts. RIP.
John Cossette, a true showman and a great friend.
The Dotoli’s miss you and love you.
All the good memories forever in our hearts.
John was the textbook definition of “one of a kind”. He was a genuinely remarkable man whose heart and soul truly brightened the lives of everyone who knew him. He was a great man – who will be greatly missed.
My heart has sank
Our deepest sympathy. Rita and family will be in our hearts and prays.
John we’re all going to miss you.
Marcia and the entire group…
Absolutely first class…G
George – I know. This is so sad. He will most certainly be missed.

May he rest in peace … an honorable man with a great sense of humor. I am grateful to him for professional kindnesses he extended me and will always think of him with fondness.
I’ve known John since the sixth grade. We played baseball together and against each other for a good ten years. He was always a person of great integrity, remarkable intelligence, and…well, a really funny guy. He was just turning his life around in terms of his health. This is a terrible shame.
damn…good guy…good friend…condolences to Rita and family.
Johnny, you were always on my side and i on yours. There are very few real gentlemen in Hollywood. Perhaps because no one even wanted to try to live up to your example. I will miss cupcake, our pat benatar dates, and being able to see your shoulders start to shake because you’ve found something funny or the irony of it almost too much. With much, much respect. Take care of Pierre for us.
love, Ronnie=Roecker
Very sad to read of john’s passing. A great guy with a great heart and a man that will be missed by all that knew him.
Dear Rita and family, I’m so sorry for your loss. John was a friend to many. God bless you during this difficult time.

Immensely sad and shocking news. What a great loss. John was a childhood friend with whom I was fortunate enough to share some rich and resonant times. A friendship rekindled in recent years with immediate ease and joy. John was a buoyant spirit whose openness, insight, depth of character, and gift for humor were exceptional. Words fail to capture you, John. You will be dearly missed by so many.
John was an inspiration to those in the Business of Show and will be forever missed.
May your spirit shine upon us each and everyday.
My deepest condolences to Rita, Maria and Rose … G-d bless you all.
It was a pleasure being part of the big picture. Thank you for the memories. RIP
John was definitely a class act! Had the amazing priveledges of working on many of the shows he produced! What a great man and great producer. RIP
Such a good, good person…He had an amazing outlook and was always there if you needed him. I feel lucky to have known him.
I had the great good fortune of meeting both Pierre and John early on in my ShowBiz career when I transitioned from working musician to personal manager.
They defined “Class Act”.
John carried on Pierre’s tradition, and expanded it with grace, civility, intelligence, humour and a seemingly never-ending drive.
The term “end of an era” is bandied about a lot; with John’s passing this truly is one.
I’m not a very religious man, but you just gotta know father and son already have a pitch meeting set up with God for “The Pearly Gates Awards”!
Deepest condolences to Rita and the girls.
John was a good friend…a teacher, a brother, a father, a prince among men. The jokes he’d tell, the stories he’d share and those timeless songs he’d hum are just a few of the many things that would put a smile on your face and made him such a joy and blessing to have in our lives. His presence will be missed but his legacy will live on in the love that he shared and the timeless memories that he created with all of us. We are going to miss you buddy!
