Bridget Jones’s Diary helmer Sharon Maguire has signed on with Scott Free to direct her scripted adaptation of Fly Me To The Moon, based on the Alyson Noel novel. The book takes a Bridget Jones-like approach to the misadventures of a young flight attendant looking for sex, love and hopefully the chance to find herself, in the bustling world of international travel. Giannina Facio is producing for Scott Free, and Ridley and Tony Scott are exec producing.

Eat, Pray, Love in the air. Pass.
who do i see playing this part? to be fair, Gwyneth Paltrow has done something quite similar, but not as intriguing.
We would need someone within that range, blonde maybe, sun-flowery look, someone who can both be funny and show some emotion.
maybe, Cameron Diaz, Kate Hudson (might look to obvious, but hey the aim is to get people in those cinema sits??), or better yet, Emma Stone, with what she did on Easy A, she would be a prime candidate for this.
With this and Pan Am, flight attendants will be hot this year and next.
Also love the Catch Me If You Can-style artwork above.
I’m for Emma Stone if only because she’s a fresh face. Diaz and Hudson are a little long in the tooth, IMO.
What about the “Confessions of a shopaholic” girl. I think she would look nice in the role. or maybe Amy Adams.
OMG I totally see Sandra Bullock doing this!!!! please pick her she can bring the comedy and the drama this movie needs!
