Our colleagues over at TVLine have nabbed exclusive video of Michael Rosenbaum reprising his juicy role as Clark Kent’s arch nemesis Lex Luthor on the CW’s Smallville, which airs the first of its final four episodes tonight at 8. The series is ending its 10-year run, and Rosenbaum’s re-emergence came together late and fast, with less than a week elapsing between his agreeing to return and the actual day of production. “I really didn’t want the day to end,” Rosenbaum said of his whirlwind, marathon shoot. “Once you’re there, you always want more. Like, ‘Oh c’mon, this is fun. Write something else!’ ”

Its been a fun show. I’m going to miss it. Very pleased that the show is going to end, as it began, with Clark and Lex.
I started watching this show when I entered high school! In a way, it feels like Clark Kent and I (and Tom Welling) grew up together. I haven’t watched every episode, or season, and surfed in and out, but still acutely felt that generational connection with Clark. I had liked Superman since I was very small, but Smallville’s modern interpretation really resonated with me. Saying goodbye to Smallville feels like bidding farewell to a childhood friend. I wasn’t the most dedicated or loyal fan, but I’ll miss you very much Smallville and Clark Kent!
I know exactly what you mean
Loved Smallville and the show wasn’t quite the same without Michael Rosenbaum, although they did a nice job keeping it alive. The crazy thing to me about him is that he’s shockingly funny on Breaking In. Who knew?
um, zoe duncan jack and jane???
does no one remember?
Listen to any commentary he is on in the Smallville seasons. Michael Rosenbaum is halarious. Check out his impersonation of Christopher Walker. It is funny in anything. He also is in the movie Sorority Boys. (where he plays a lady)
Wish they would keep the same Clark and Lois for the movie, they have a good chemistry in those roles, oh well, hope the finale goes out with a successful bang.
This crap is still on?
Come back when you have a television series on the air for 10 years based on the most popular comic book character of all time. Douche.
GREAT PROMO! The finale is going to be great.
Excited to see booster Gold in tonight’s episode
Michael Rosenbaum looks horrible with the bald cap. He reminds me of the Aliens from Alien Nation (1988) starry James Caan. What a load of crap. This finale could have been done with out him…now he’s excited to be back with that egg on his head. LOL
Seriously this movie will be an epic flop without Tom Welling as Superman, and Erica as Lois! They are just too perfect in their roles to never see them on the big screen.
Tom ownz the Superman look… Cavill looks like a chump compared to Welling.
I have a tendency to watch Smallville by buying the season DVDs, instead of watching it as it airs. Can’t deal with the crazy intense fandom or the network’s schedule. So, I haven’t seen any of season 10 yet, but I WILL be watching the finale live. End of an era! Farewell my Superman!
Seasons 3, 4, & 5: EPIC!
Seasons 1 & 2: Astonishingly good.
Seasons 6 & 7: Dire! Train wreck!
Season 8: Starts very good. Ends Dire!
Season 9: Very good!
Season 10: Uneven. Filler episodes, interspersed with epic episodes like HOMECOMING. And now the finale. Cons: questionable writers. They’ve written good episodes and horrible episodes. Pros: Greg Beeman, Glen Winters, the return of Lex Luthor, and Tom Welling’s adroitness and ownage of the role right now. Can’t wait!
We will all miss you very Smallville, Clark Kent and Lex Luthor, and other characters!
But life goes on.
