Genius.
I really wish liberals would stop picking on Glenn Beck and just watch his show for themselves. He does a better Glenn Beck than Jon Stewart ever will. Watch his show and you’ll see why he beats out so many other comedy shows on cable.
WTF; Glenn Beck has been doing COMEDY all this while? That’s news to me Jared. Sure had me fooled because he wasn’t perceived that way in this household… I say, GOOD RIDDANCE…8-)
All these people so excited over Beck’s departure from Fox are delusional. He isn’t leaving Fox, just his show. Fox didn’t dump him.
Stewart is nothing more than a shill for the Democrats, which is hilarious considering his criticism of Fox.
Stewart gave a brilliant commentary earlier this week lambasting Obama for his quote unquote open government initiatives. He hits both sides.
A fux news fan calling anyone else a shill for a political party is what’s really hilarious.
@ Sam Hain:
1) Know what you are talking about when commenting.
2) Think before you type.
Glenn Back & Jon Stewart are both partisan blow hards. They are both douchebags and equally rsponsible for the pathetic state of political discourse in America. They both occasionaly go after their own parties but it’s rare and not usually on idealogical beliefs. Glenn Beck is like the crazy preacher on the street corner yelling that you are going to hell. Jon Stewart is the used car salesman that you thought was funny so you purchased a car from him, but 2 weeks later you found out he sold you a POS. When you confront him on it, he responds with “What do I know I’m just a salesman not a mechanic”
Franco likes false equivalence.
Never mind that Stewart refers to facts and Beck… doesn’t. No, no, they are EXACTLY the same.
Beck has twice the viewers Stewart has, alot of libs will be glad to see him leave for that reason. The down side is they’ll have one less righty to make fun of, Beck is a great target for them. If FOX News ever left the air CNN, MSNBC and Comedy Centeral would would lose alot of targets, you can only do so many Sarah Palin joke before people get fed up with you. All Bill Maher does is spit out insults to get attention these days, his awfull show doesn’t even draw 1 million veiwers, but when he calls Palin the “D” word he gets the press of a Beck or Hannity.
No other station has the mind-control, brainwashing, capturing power and thickheaded, uneducated viewers of Fox. If Fox’s viewers went to college instead of receiving education on their couch watching Beck and O’Reilly, maybe just maybe, they would watch Stewart or MSNBC once in a blue moon just to hear the other side.
Maybe you should worry a little more about the conservative agenda to eviscerate school budgets when your kids are clearly going to need to learn that “a lot” is two words and when to use a period vs. a comma. Unlike their daddy ever did.
There will NEVER be enough Sarah Palin jokes. And quite frankly, I’d really love to see what the world looks like “if FOX News ever left the air”..and the word is spelled “awful” rather than “awfull”…I’m just saying. You folks keep feeding us things to react to. Stop pretending you have all of the answers and telling everyone else how and where to live and who to love and how to worship and who “belongs” in this country, and we’ll stop laughing, ok?
Hey Alex, you’re wrong. Beck’s Nielsen ratings have evaporated, especially since 2011 started. He averages 1.6-1.8 million total viewers an episode (which is more than 50% off from when his Fox show started, to make the math simple for you, a downward trend). Stewart’s show averages 1.6 million total viewers and nearly a million 18-49 (what advertisers care about, something Glenn Beck is also losing at an alarming rate). So… not even close to double, and if you look at 18-49, it’s Stewart that doubles Beck’s ratings. Oh yeah, another thing, The Daily Show’s ratings have showed an upward trend in recent months… which means it’s growing.
i slept with a girl at fox and she told that as good as his ratings were they cant sell advertising on his show. they lose money on him because non of big national advertisers will touch him. they only are able to sell 1800 ads, you know the cheap ones for things like binder&binder or magic jack or collegeconnection. that type of thing.
im guessing thats why they had to end his show. makes sense to me…
Your story lacks credibility, they’re all Christians over there. They don’t practice premarital sex.
LOL you did not have to slept with a girl from Fox to know that information.
I wonder if Beck wept openly when he saw this. He’s been known to do that. *sniff*
Jon Stewart is not a partisan cheerleader like the FoxNews cast. He’s gone after unions and democrats with the same vigor has he’s mocked righties. You do something stupid and the Daily Show will pounce on you.
Also Jon Stewart won the Emmy last year for his Glenn Beck impersonation.
Perhaps FoxNews will bring back Glenn when he needs to spread more lies about the inner workings of the president’s mind.
Beck never recovered from the fact that the Daily Show came to DC and outdrew his rally – and Stewart and Colbert didn’t need a reflecting pool and old people stretched out on lawn furniture to pad the size of the crowd.
Glenn Beck should have won that Emmy, he has a better sense of comedic timing than Jon Stewart. No one does a funnier Glenn Beck impersonation than Glenn Beck.
I guess you need to watch Glenn first to get the humor of this parody. Having never watched a single episode, to me it’s just Jon Stewart acting like Jon Stewart, with extra camera angles. Oddly enough, the audience is in stitches, and I think it’s fair to say most of Stewart’s audience are of the liberal persuasion. Were they just humoring him, or did they really get the parody because they, unlike me, actually watched Beck?
Oh, and I voted Republican in the last few elections. Makes you wonder who his audience really was.
Sam H – you’re an uneducated moron who believes everything he hears. Taking that into consideration, maybe you should actually WATCH and LISTEN to Stewart and his show – Stewart has said many times he doesn’t care for EITHER party, and his show consistently slams Dems/Obama as much or more than anyone else.
But nah, easier to have Beck & O’reilly tell you what to think & believe, isn’t it?
Know what the real problem w/our country is? not Obama, not socialism, not democrats and liberals. It’s sheep like you who believe what their herders tell them instead of looking at the facts with your own eyes.
