On The Tonight Show With Jay Leno last night, Paul Reiser had a few things to say about NBC following the swift cancellation of his new NBC series after two low-rated airings. He had been originally booked to promote the show before it was pulled on Friday afternoon. “NBC, to my knowledge, they don’t traditionally make bad decisions, have you heard that?” Reiser asked Leno, a thinly veiled reference to NBC’s recent late-night debacle involving Leno and Conan O’Brien. “It turns out they said we enjoy missing you more than actually having you,” Reiser later said of NBC. “But I don’t take it personally. When you’re the last-place network, you don’t want to jeopardize that. You’ve found your niche. Stay there. So I get it.” Here are highlights from the interview, including reaction from Christina Aguilera, on Leno to promote NBC’s new reality series The Voice.
