A month into its freshman run on Comedy Central, Workaholics has been renewed for a second season with a 10-episode order. The series, from Blake Anderson, Adam Devine, Anders Holm and Kyle Newacheck, has ranked No. 1 in its post-South Park Wednesday 10:30 PM time slot among young men a
nd has done particularly well with Men 18-24. “It’s not only gratifying to know the audience for Workaholics has grown week-by-week, but also rewarding to see how the show is changing the way people live and work,” said Comedy Central’s head of original programming and production Kent Alterman. “Pretty soon, our national productivity will be so low, we will all have more leisure time.”

Really? I think this show is lame. Hip references, but the writing is so half-assed, and comedy adjacent.
I agree this show is not funny. I tried watching this show twice, but each time I turned the dial.

Being honest, I watched South Park, but changed the channel right when this came on. I don’t see how these two shows are compatible at all. Find another animated show to put behind South Park, Comedy Central.

I’m so happy this show is renewed for another season…I LOVE it! It’s intellectual humor with the facade of slapstick humor….perfect! I noticed the only two friends of mine who said they didn’t like it, also happen to be the least intelligent of the group that we hang out with….I think you REALLY have to understand sarcasm to it’s fullest to like this show. It’s the small things…certain inflections in Adam’s voice when he says something…stuff like that….hilarious!
Best show on tv. Much better then their online comedy. Will be interesting to see whether they have to develop characters more or whether they have enough creativity to keep the hilarity going let episode.
