I read today that James Cameron played a huge part in getting Bay to shoot it in 3D, and convert it right. I really don’t care for 3D, but I truly hope that Cameron gave Bay his 3D playbook so it’s done well. Movie just looks like a sick summer-fun film.
Pains me to say it but this looks solid, as far as trailers go. I knew the original “Dark of the Moon” script was penned by Ehren Kruger but rumors were circulating that Orci and Kurtzman had a hand in the screenplay — or were to be involved — as well. Is that true, or just rumors? Whichever the case, Michael Bay can start printing money because this movie will blow everything else out of the water, even if the writing is underwhelming and lousy. Welcome to Hollywood in 2011, I suppose.
I’ve tried so, so, SO hard to ignore “Dark Side of the Moon” given just how unbelievably terrible “Revenge of the Fallen” was. Really, really tried. But holy shit that trailer.
I like that you can actually see what happens on the screen, unlike the last movie where they cut ever 10th of a second.
Looks good. Bay can safely put the downpayment on his new tropical island.
7 Words: Bad Ass. I’m off to the pub.
Looks awesome, but it’s essentially the same trailer from a month ago with a couple new shots of Optimus at the beginning and very end.
Sorry, if Tina Louise isn’t coming back as Ginger, it’s just not real and I’m not going to see it.
How many times does LaBouf have to save the girl? One minute she’s fallen. The other time she’s scared. Here’s an idea get rid of both of them and let the autobots focus on saving the world.
BTW – Where’s Megatron?
This is going to be sooooooo EPIC!
Boring.
Bring back Megan Fox. At least she supplied the eye candy to blur the plot holes.
P.O.S. another Michael Bay crapsterpiece!!
Coming from the guy that wouldn’t do sequels! Next bad boys3!
there is nothing “special” anymore with CG special effects. it all looks fake and video game-like, we are bombarded with this shit on television commercials every day.
Some of the CGI I’ve seen seen look’s pretty dam good. I think it depend’s on what you try to show on screen, and HOW you try to show it. Some of the Lunar stuff look’s pretty good in this trailer.
