• Looks like there is some potential here, but that trailer just isn’t working. They should take another crack at it with a new trailer house. Too many “Sallys” in there too. Who cares what her name is. Just comes off as annoying and unnecessary.

  • The trailer could definitely be better. I read the script and it was really good! (Yes, I do read a lot of material.) From this it looks like they nailed the atmosphere. The editing of the trailer is just trying so hard to be jarring that it doesn’t work. Probably would’ve been more effective to show a portion of one of the early creepy scenes and trim the length by about half.

• I like Bailee Madison, but I think she’s too good of an actress for her age. Kinda comes off as creepy, like when Dakota was trying to play someone her own age.

• I don’t know how this will turn out, but the original is great. It was a low-budget TV movie, so there’s no special effects or anything, just shadows. It’s the kind of movie that if you stumble across it on TV late at night when you’re a kid, it will scare you to pieces and scar you for life. I speak from experience.
