True story.
“Fun” is not what I would call that.
Looks fantastic. I’m in.
What am I missing? That looks like a sad pathetic waist of 2 hours to me. What are you other people seeing that I am not?
Well, I’m guessing the demographics for this movie are not people who spell “waste”, “waist”.
Seriously, though, I thoroughly enjoyed About Schmidt, Sideways, Election and Citizen Ruth, so I assume I’ll enjoy this, too. It looks like a good, grown up movie.
Yeah, this movie would be so much better if Clooney had a costume and it was based on a comic book. Because that would be something different.
Clooney is lookin olddddd for his age….
He’s 50. I’d say he looks damn good for his age. I’m 40 and I wish I looked that good.
Can’t wait. It looks great.
looks great!
Finally a trailer that deserves the “Hot” in the headline. Looks great.
Eh…
Hey “old” You should drop to your knees at night and pray you look as good as Clooney does at his age.
I’ll see it ’cause I like Clooney and Payne but honestly this trailer doesn’t excite me in an I’ll-lay-out-10-bucks-for-it kind of way.
Clooney looks good with gray hair IMO. The man is just plane pretty.
Every thought I had is what you’ve said except I can’t call Clooney pretty and I would have spelled “plain” correctly.
Yeah, I’m in too.
Maybe because I read the script and like it so much, I was slightly underwhelmed by the trailer. Big Payne fan, so hopefully it’s just a bad trailer.
Used to like Clooney but the older he gets the more difficult it is to watch him onscreen. He looked like an 80 year old zombie in The American. Plus whenever he’s the main character (with no other stars to support him) it always ends up being a ridiculously slow and boring affair. This one looks no different.
I’ve waited seven long years for Alexander’s next film, and it looks more like “About Schmidt” than “Sideways” – which is disappointing. And why does Clooney still sound like he’s in character for “Fantastic Mr. Fox?”
I find it wonderfully refreshing to see that someone is making films that are NOT targeted at 15 year old boys.
Love Payne and Clooney, so I’ll be checking this out.
Where was the FUNNY part..or the intriguing part….in fact, aside from George Clooney asking for answers, what the hell is this about?!
Oh yeah…and I read the script!
Weird, mid life crisis. But I’ll see anything Clooney does. Except the American.
This does not look like a “plane waist” to me. In fact, thank god for a movie without CGI, bodies being ripped apart, fart jokes or somebody in spandex. Haven’t read the script, it just looks like real people going through the sunshine and shit of life. That’s worth shelling out $ for.
Oscar nom for Clooney. Easy. Payne is the best.
In.
A movie for grown ups? Hallelujah.
I predict 100 million opening weekend. Move over Bay.
After The American I like seeing Clooney as the vulnerable dad. Good choice George! Looks like another good one from Payne. John Jackson cast this film, he’s one of the nicest guys in the business.
Looks good to me.
I’ve liked most of Payne’s movies of late and Clooney is solid and great with good directors.
Plus, some supporting cast standouts too.
I’m in.
I’m in. For Payne but also Nat Faxon/ Jim Rash script. Thank you mature content.

Bravo – as someone who is going through an eriely similar situation, the cgi crap bores the hell outta me. Movies about the sunshine and the shit are too few and far between. Gotta have balls of steel to make them.
