Maybe CW should pick up Georgetown.
They didn’t pick up Body Politic a couple years ago, so why in the world would they pick this one up now?
Maybe. They are stupid enough. That show has not demo target.
I really wanted Hallelujah to make it. Shame. But I can’t complain since I absolutely approve of all of the other ABC pick ups.

No news on the Whitney Cummings pilot?
Whitney Cummings got a series pickup from NBC and another one from CBS. Since the CBS show is in 2nd position, she’s going to be running the NBC show.

I really hope so for the both of them, but i was looking forward for both shows too.

NBC got gun-shy about multi-camera comedy again. (At least they picked up Handler and Cummings’ shows.) Not enough has changed from the previous regime. They’re still chasing their tails with high-concept comedy instead of trying to give a creator some freedom to make a low-concept, freewheeling multi-camera comedy – the kind that defines their brand.
Shame about Partners, would have been amazing to see Annie Wersching on TV again. Seems ABC just didn’t want procedurals this season since Identity (which received high praise) also didn’t make the cut.

Sad about Poe on ABC and really all of NBC’s dead drama pilots. Definitely some very interesting premises.

I wanted georgetown to be picked up
There were some interesting ideas that didn’t make it, but I understood why for most of them. Some of the really creative Ideas didn’t seem to have a future.
Lost is kind of a cautionary tale. Its first episode was brilliant. But there was no cohesive plan on what came next. The knowing wink that the creators try to pawn off on us fools no one.
Like Poe or Reconstruction, I am sure the pilots were good. But what was the plan to get to 100 episodes where tv can actually make real money?
A POE tv show is a great idea but for CABLE. It could never have been good on a major network like ABC.
How great/terrible is Good Christian Belles, Playboy, Smash and Pan Am? All 4 have great casts
I have not personally seen them, but I’ve heard nothing but amazing things for all of them!
By all accounts, GOOD CHRISTIAN BELLES, THE PLAYBOY CLUB, and SMASH all tested extremely well. I’m not sure about the other, though.

I’m pretty sure they avoided all the procedural shows. As much as I like Angela Bassett, I’m not so sure her show would have sold. PI shows are getting stale quickly.
Isn’t IDENTITY this totally redundant show whose UK “source” material was a total rip-off of WHITE COLLAR?
I was sorry to hear about Paget Brewster’s pilot being rejected, but I’ll be happy if she comes back to Criminal Minds so I can watch again

I feel the same way – I feel bad for Paget that her pilot wasn’t picked up, but I’m thrilled this will leave her open to return to “Criminal Minds”. The fans miss you, Paget; please come back!

is there any chance anyone can see non industry insider can see these cancelled pilots. They say you learn more from failure than success. It would be great for an up and comer to learn. Anyone?
