EXCLUSIVE: Jill McElroy is joining
Management 360 as a literary manager from Benderspink where she was a manager and producer for over a decade. Joining her are writing clients including John Hlavin, Karl Gajdusek, Andrea Berloff, Kyle Ward, Stacey Harman, Marc Haimes, Tom Smuts, among others. Many of her clients had worked with Management 360, and I hear that’s how the relationship started.
Editor-in-Chief Nikki Finke - tip her here.

This is great news!! Jill McElroy is a class act. Management 360 is extremely lucky to have acquired such a dedicated manager. She really is one of the best!
Jill is great, good for her. Change is good. Benderspink is fine as well btw, people move, it’s not strange.
Wow, this is a big surprise. Absolutely LOVE Jill and wish her the absolute best. I think that things are afoot at Benderspink.
Jill is good people. I hope the move serves her well.
On the other side, doesn’t it seems like a lot of people from the old BenderSpink days have jumped ship over the last few years? Mason Novick, Brian Spink and now Jill. I always like the guys at BS, wonder why the turnover…
Congrats to Jill!!! Great move for all…
The problem is BS now favor producing over managing. But it wasn’t always like that. I remember when BS were mavericks with fresh ideas and good writers. Now there’s a whole audition process just to get a clients’ work out there with the mandate of producing, not really thinking about the writers’ interests. If it doesn’t meet the “broad” and “high concept” criteria, it dies on the vine. Inevitably good material never sees the light of day. Clients eventually get frustrated and jump ship to hungrier managers… followed by their managers who can’t get clients’ work out. Good for Jill!
Jill is an amazing manager and person. 360 is VERY lucky.
The only writer here with a produced credit is A Berloff. By no means is this list any great shakes! Am I missing something? Why did they hire her?
Are you a f’ing moron? Kyle Ward and Stacey Harman have written some of the most buzzed about scripts out there. They’re the next generation. This is a hot list. Think before you speak.
Very happy for Jill. She is a rare commodity.

It is ABOUT. TIME. Jillie Mac is the bomb and deserves this break.
Woot woot!
Jill is great. Congrats.
Good things happening to great people!!! So excited for Jill.
Good move 360! Jill is the best of the best!!!
She’s the real deal. Congrats!
How’s Chris Huvane doing over at Mgmt 360? Anyone dealt with him?
I’ve dealt with Chris recently on a deal with James Ransone and he was tough, but incredibly understanding of our budget and position and guided the deal really smartly for James. He’s got a good list already, and he hasn’t been there long. Good guy.
